Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to anti-CD200 antibodies and to use of the antibodies in methods for treating autoimmune disorders and cancer. Also featured are biomarkers for use in selecting or prescribing a treatment modality for a patient with an autoimmune disorder and/or cancer. In addition, the disclosure features methods of treatment using an anti-CD200 antibody in combination with one or more additional therapeutic agents such as an anti-CD20 therapeutic agent.
Abstract:
A pneumatic pinch valve assembly having a lever, a piston supporting a pressing piece, and a fluid tube receiving space formed between the lever and the pressing piece for receiving fluid tubes is disclosed. Air is introduced into a cavity to actuate the piston in order to pinch a fluid tube between the lever and the pressing piece to intercept a fluid flow through the tube. A pinching action control feature is located between the piston and the pressing piece and is used to protect the fluid tube by limiting one or more amounts of compression of the fluid tube during operation. The amount of compression of the fluid tube is able to be adjusted so that the fluid tube is not easily deteriorated during long-time operation.

Abstract:
In a disk drive, an interconnect adapter for coupling a head of a suspension assembly to front-end read/write circuitry includes a pad set with a plurality of specially designed pads. The pads are formed with an integrated frame and multiple tabs. The tabs enable removal and replacement of the pad set from the suspension assembly to enable suspension assembly rework. The interconnect adapter is designed to adapt to polarity specifications of various head and read/write circuitry designs. The pad set design is configured for connection with a variety of traces, with a piezoelectric microactuator, pre-amplification circuitry, and any of a variety of heads.
Abstract:
Techniques for synchronizing personal contact information with or from different sources are disclosed. Through a website (i.e., a server or system), all fractional personal contact information is consolidated, synchronized, processed or updated. In return, any of the resources may be synchronized to get a copy of the latest version of the contact information. When contacts in a list by a registered user are also registered with the server, any of the contacts may update their respective contact information that can be timely reflected in the list. As a result, the registered user always has a latest version of the contact information for some or all of his/her contacts without even knowing some has already been changed or updated. Based on the contact information, other features including proof delivery of emails, recycling of deleted contacts, a “black” list, contact relationship levels and anonymous email, short messaging and calls are provided.

The present invention provides a pneumatic pinch valve, comprising: a lever and a pressing piece, a fluid tube receiving space being formed between the lever and the pressing piece, wherein the pneumatic pinch valve further comprises a main body providing a cavity therein, the lever being installed on the main body; a piston provided in the cavity of the main body, the piston engaging with an inner wall of the cavity of the main body so as to divide the cavity into a first cavity and a second cavity, the pressing piece being positioned in the second cavity and supported on the piston; an air inlet port provided at the first cavity, wherein air introduced into the first cavity via the air inlet port moves the piston toward the fluid tube receiving space so as to press the fluid tube through an engagement of the pressing piece on the piston with the lever, and thus intercept the fluid in the fluid tube; and an air discharge mechanism provided at the piston, by which the piston pushes the air introduced into the first cavity, and then discharges the air into outside, so that the pressing piece releases the fluid tube to allow the intercepted fluid to flow through the fluid tube. Since the pneumatic pinch valve is communicated with the air source via the air inlet port and controls the interception and release of fluid in the flow passage in a pneumatic manner, the construction of the pneumatic pinch valve is simple. Moreover, since the pressurized amount of the fluid tube or the pressure of the air source can be adjusted, i.e. adjusting the pinching force applied to the fluid tube, the fluid tube is not easily deteriorated during long-time operation.
Abstract:
A system and method for connecting flexible circuitry in a disk drive system such as that used in computer systems. The system and method allow a large number of traces to be connected in a small area by forming male and female connector portions at an end of a mating pair of traces. the male and female portions are formed using conventional flexible circuit fabrication techniques, making possible very accurate control of very small built-in type connectors. The connection can be uncoupled and re-coupled, and added security of attachment can be achieved through the use of ultra-sonic bonding and use of a mechanical clamp.
Abstract:
A method for rapidly measuring melatonin adulteration of Chinese patent medicines and healthcare foods comprises: (1) extracting melatonin added to a Chinese patent medicine or healthcare food by using ethyl acetate; and (2) adding p-dimethylaminocinnamaldehyde to the extracted solution, and observing color. The method is rapid, simple and convenient, has strong specificity, high accuracy, reaction sensitivity, and a wide application range, and is applicable to on-site detection of melatonin adulteration of a Chinese patent medicine or healthcare food.
