Abstract:
A fluid dispensing gun for 1K-polyurethane foam includes a dispensing tube with a dosing nozzle at its outlet, a spring-loaded needle co-axially moveable in the dispensing tube for opening and closing the dosing nozzle, a trigger actuating the needle to open the nozzle and to dispense the fluid, a regulator regulating the degree of opening of the nozzle outlet and a coupler coupling a pressurized can to the gun. It also concerns a method for dispensing 1K-polyurethane foam. The fluid dispensing gun includes a delivery device delivering a curing fluid essentially parallel to the nozzle outlet that includes a curing fluid reservoir, a curing fluid outlet situated near the nozzle and a curing fluid line connecting the curing fluid reservoir and the curing fluid outlet, the trigger activating the delivery device. The curing fluid delivered in the same direction as the 1K-polyurethane foam and separately therefrom makes the foam cure more rapidly.
Abstract:
A portable, self-contained, hand-held, spray gun system having spray gun with a handle, barrel, trigger, and an interchangeable cartridge containing a sprayable substance which may flow from the cartridge under pressure through a portion of the barrel past a selectively positionable needle valve and out an exit orifice of a nozzle when the trigger is squeezed allowing a user to spray the pressurized contents of the vessel over a selected surface and stop such spraying activity by releasing the trigger all without the need for a separate power source or motorized compressor.
Abstract:
An automated sprayer for spraying the walls of a shower enclosure with a liquid cleanser dispenses the cleanser using a pump and rotatable spray head. A motor drives the pump and rotates the spray head. The sprayer has a showerhead mountable housing with a hanger. The housing supports a bottle of cleanser in an inverted fashion. Cleanser is delivered from the bottle through a cleanser conduit in the piercing post into a well of the housing. The bottle is vented from the well through an air vent path in the piercing post or from a well vent outlet through the air vent path in the piercing post. An outlet valve in the well permits outflow of cleanser from the well. Various bottle caps and bottle closures are also provided to improve venting and/or limit cleanser leakage from the bottle when the bottle is installed in the housing.
Abstract:
The present invention is directed toward a toy water gun which is operated by selectively releasing water from a water reservoir pressurized with air. The present invention has a manually operated pump incorporated into the design. As the pump is cycled, water and air is drawn from a water storage tank. Once drawn, the water and air are forced into a pressure reservoir. As the amount of water and air forced into the pressure reservoir increases, the pressure on the water within the pressure reservoir increases. The pressure of the water and air within the pressure reservoir increases with each cycle of the pump, until the pump can no longer overcome the pressure of the water and air within the pressure tank. The pressurized water and air within the pressure tank has an avenue of release that is regulated by the trigger mechanism of the invention. When no force is applied to the trigger, the pressurized water and air are held at bay with no means of release. When force is applied to the trigger, the water is first released from the pressurized container and is channeled through a narrow nozzle. The escape of the water, under pressure, through the narrow nozzle creates a stream of propelled water that lasts as long as the trigger is engaged or until the air pressure propelling the water equals the ambient pressure.
Abstract:
The present invention is a toy water gun which is operated by selectively releasing water from a water reservoir that is pressurized with air. The gun has amanually operated air pump which pressurizes a water reservoir and consequently pressurizes any water therein. The pressurized water has an avenue of release that is regulated by a trigger mechanism. When no force is applied to the trigger, the pressurized water is held at bay with no means of release. When force is applied to the trigger, water is released from the pressurized reservoir and is channeled through a narrow nozzle. The escape of the pressurized water through the narrow nozzle creates a stream of propelled water that lastas as long as the trigger is engaged or until the pressure on the water in the reservoir equals the ambient air pressure. Water is added to the present invention via at least one fill opening on the water reservoir. The reservoir itself is non-detachable from the gun housing. There is an orifice on the water reservoir separate from the fill opening which is connected to the housing and serves as both the entrance point of pressurized air from the air pump, and the exit point of the pressurized water.
Abstract:
A fluid dispensing device includes a housing and a reciprocating piston fluid pump coupled to the housing. The reciprocating piston fluid pump includes a piston. The piston is configured to pressurize at least one pumping chamber. A motor is connected to the reciprocating piston fluid pump to actuate the piston. A spray tip connected to an outlet of the at least one pumping chamber.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a cleanout adaptor (1) for a spray foam applicator equipped with a receiver basket (3) having a feed port (3b) adapted to receive an inlet source of foamable material, the cleanout adaptor having an open end that fits securely into the receiver basket, and the cleanout adaptor defining a fluid flow channel extending from the feed port to and securely connecting with a source of cleaner, such as water, for example, from a hose.
Abstract:
A method of assembling a nozzle assembly is disclosed. The method includes: providing a nozzle member having a central passage defined by at least an inner side surface and an inner distal surface; inserting a fluid atomizer into the central passage of the nozzle member; and, with a distal surface of the fluid atomizer arranged adjacent the inner distal surface of the nozzle member, flexing legs of the fluid atomizer in a radially-outward direction for engaging each leg of the legs with the inner side surface of the nozzle member. A fluid atomizer is also disclosed. A nozzle assembly is also disclosed. A method of utilizing a nozzle assembly is also disclosed.
