The polymeric layer includes polymer molecules with an R1 group, an R2 group, a polymer backbone between the R1 group and R2 group, and an R3 group side-attached to the polymer backbone. The polymeric layer is bonded to the glass substrate via the R1 groups and bonded to the metal via the R2 groups.

The cover has an outer surface and an inner surface. The cover includes a functionalized superhydrophobic multi-layer coating on at least one of the outer surface and inner surface. The functionalized superhydrophobic coating prevents moisture from entering the component assembly and attacking sensors housed therein, and has a water contact angle thereon of at least 145 degrees.

Abstract: An electrically conductive paste contains: metal nanoparticles which are protected by an organic compound containing an amino group and have an average particle diameter of 30 nm to 400 nm; metal particles which are protected by a higher fatty acid and have an average particle diameter of 1 μm to 5 μm; an organic solvent; and a resin component consisting of a cellulose derivative. A conductor obtained by firing the electrically conductive paste has a film thickness of 30 μm or more and a specific resistance of 5.0×10−6 Ω·cm or less. In this way, the electrically conductive paste can reduce the resistance of the obtained conductor and to increase the amount of current flowing. A wiring board includes a conductor obtained from the electrically conductive paste.

Abstract: Polymer particles excellent in uniform dispersibility and the use thereof are provided. The polymer particles contain a surfactant, and have a coefficient of variation in the volume-based particle diameter distribution in the range from not less than 13.0% to not more than 25.0%. When 15.0 g of water is added to 5.0 g of the polymer particles so as to disperse the polymer particles in the water by performing a dispersion treatment for 60 minutes using an ultrasonic cleaner, and furthermore when an obtained dispersion liquid is put into a centrifuge tube with an inside diameter of 24 mm so as to be centrifuged, by a centrifugal separator, under conditions that K factor is 6943 and a rotating time is 30 minutes to recover a supernatant, a concentration of non-volatile components in the obtained supernatant is less than 3.5 wt. %.
