Abstract: A device adapted for installation onto a toilet overflow pipe to indicate a leaking condition of a toilet flush valve. The device having a stem portion with a diameter configured for receipt within an interior diameter of a toilet overflow tube. The device including a housing forming a reservoir for collection of water prior to entering the overflow tube. The reservoir including a cavity for the placement of a water soluble pigment, wherein the pigment is dissolved within water in the housing and into the overflow tube. An alternate embodiment of the device, includes a stay member configured to support a ball float member in an off condition.

Abstract: The embodiments of this application disclose a control system and a control method of intelligent toilets. The control system includes a toilet body, a communication device which is set on the toilet body to acquire the geographic location information of the toilet body, and transmit the acquired geographic location information to a server which acquires the external environment information of the toilet body based on the geographic location information and generates the adjustment parameters based on the external environment information. The external environment information includes the environment temperature information, the environment humidity information, and the sensory temperature information. The control system also includes a controller which is set on the toilet body to receive the adjustment parameters from the server and control the working temperature of the toilet body based on the adjustment parameters.

The sensed information, sanitaryware system status or condition, and/or initiated response may be logged and monitored to improve the overall efficiency and operation of the sanitaryware system and the sanitaryware fixtures within the system.

Abstract: A system and method for leveling a toilet atop a toilet flange. The system includes a set of devices each having a plate portion and a lip portion. The set of devices are attachable under a base of a toilet prior to installation of the toilet over a toilet flange. The set of devices raise a height of the toilet and create a distance for the toilet to have a proper connection to the toilet flange without disrupting an existing pipe system and/or existing flooring. As such, the set of devices may fix toilet flange height issues in a short amount of time, may prevent a redo of the existing flooring and tiles, and may save cost and time.

Abstract: A retrofit dispenser monitor is disclosed. The dispenser monitor has a connector allowing it to be connected directly to one of a number of dispensers. The dispenser monitor also comprises a sensor configured to detect the dispensing action of the attached dispenser by learning the characteristics of the dispensing action. Information corresponding to the dispensing action is then transmitted to a remote location which allows the use of the dispenser to be monitored.

Abstract: An in-toilet apparatus for discrimination of urine and feces is disclosed. An optical sensor is provided for the analysis of urination and defecation events within a toilet bowl. Additionally, strain gauges are provided to make possible the quantification of urine and feces that a user releases. The combination of data from the optical sensors and strain gauges makes it possible for a user to readily know the mass of their bodily excrements, characterized by excrement type. In several embodiments the optical sensor is a thermal camera mounted on the toilet seat or in the toilet bowl. In other embodiments the optical sensor is a water level sensor. In varying embodiments, strain gauges are located in the toilet seat or in an attached footscale or both.

Abstract: An optical engine directly attached to a surface of a toilet bowl is disclosed. An optical element of the optical engine traps urine for analysis. A cleaning jet may be used to clean and dry the optical element after urine is analyzed. A heater may be used to preheat a urine capture area before receiving urine and control urine temperature while testing the urine. User feedback associated with urinalysis results may be visually given to a toilet user by one or more light sources of the optical engine.
