Abstract: A user device, UE, for a wireless communication system is described. The wireless communication system includes a plurality of user devices, UEs. The UE communicates with one or more transmitting UEs using a sidelink, supports a certain number of HARQ processes, and buffers one or more transmissions for each HARQ process. During a unicast communication with a transmitting UE using the sidelink, the UE receives from the transmitting UE a transmission during a transmission time interval, the transmission associated to control data, e.g. SCI, including a HARQ process ID, buffers the received transmission for the HARQ process, and combines the buffered transmissions prior to decoding. In case a successfully identified transmission is not buffered, the UE indicates to the transmitting UE that the transmission is not buffered at the UE.

Abstract: An apparatus and a method are provided for operating HARQ in a mobile communication system. The method includes receiving a number of HARQ processes of a semi-persistent resource allocation and semi-persistent resource allocation interval information for a first transmission; receiving data in the first transmission at a subframe based on the semi-persistent resource allocation interval information; calculating a HARQ process IDentifier (ID) using the number of HARQ processes of the semi-persistent resource allocation, the semi-persistent resource allocation interval information, and time information; receiving control information including the HARQ process ID on an L1 control channel; receiving data in a retransmission based on the control information including the HARQ process ID; combining the data received in the first transmission and the data received in the retransmission; and decoding the combined data.

Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are described herein for providing Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request (HARQ) techniques for a non-terrestrial network. For example, a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may transmit, to a satellite base station (BS), uplink (UL) feedback that includes configuration information for redundancy versions (RVs) and cross redundancy versions (cRVs). The WTRU may receive one or more first RVs associated with a first transport block (TB). The WTRU may receive one or more second RVs associated with a second TB and at least one cross redundancy version (cRV) associated with the first TB and second TB. The cRV may include parity bits generated from both the first TB and second TB. If at least one of the first TB or the second TB is unsuccessfully decoded, the WTRU may decode the first TB and second TB jointly based on the at least one cRV.

Abstract: Provided is a transmission method executed by a transmitting apparatus to transmit a content to a plurality of terminals. The content having transmission count information indicating a number of times the content is to be transmitted by the transmitting apparatus. Abstract: When receiving a first data frame sent by a transmitting apparatus, a receiving apparatus may return error indication information including an identifier of at least one erroneous codeword group to the transmitting apparatus if it is found that an error occurs in an initial codeword of the first data frame. The transmitting apparatus may obtain the erroneous codeword group and encode the erroneous codeword group, and retransmit a part of a sub check codeword obtained through encoding to the receiving apparatus. The receiving apparatus may obtain a third check matrix based on a first check matrix, a second check matrix, and a location of the at least one erroneous codeword group in the initial codeword, and re-decode the retransmitted partial sub check codeword and content of the first data frame together based on the third check matrix, so as to obtain a correct initial codeword.
