Abstract: Provided is an authoring method which supports authoring various applications in terms of a screen and a processing speed, recommends a proper change candidate and remotely communicates and uses a storage resource. A method for authoring an application in a terminal accessing a server on a web by using a template comprises an advance preparation step where a plurality of templates usable when the application is authored, a plurality of UI blocks constituting a screen of each template and a plurality of WF blocks constituting an operation of each template are authored in advance and stored in the server; an edition determining step where one among the templates is selected as an edition target in the terminal and at least one between the UI and the WF is edited with respect to the edition target template; a UI edition step where one among the UI blocks constituting the edition target template is selected as an exchange target, a list of multiple recommended UI blocks selected by the server with respect to the exchange target UI block is transmitted to the terminal, and one recommended UI block selected among them is exchanged with the exchange target UI block to constitute a UI of the template when the UI is edited; a WF edition step where at least one between a data flow direction and sequence among the multiple WF blocks constituting the edition target template is changed when the WF is edited; and an application generation step where an application is generated from the template in a state that at least one between the UI and the WF is edited.
