Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved process for purifying crude triethylenediamine (TEDA) with high quality and high purity in a simple and inexpensive process. SOLUTION: The process purifies triethylenediamine (TEDA) by distillation, wherein the fractionation is carried out in a dividing wall column. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for distillative separation of triethanolamin from a substance mixture consisting of mono- di-, and triethanolamin, ethanolamin-ether and water obtainable by an ammonia and ethylene oxide reaction in a liquid phase at a high pressure and temperature consisting in distilling the substance mixture in two stages. In the first stage, a low-boiling fraction and a high-boiling fraction are withdrawn and discharged, and in the second stage, a medium-boiling fractions is distilled at a triethanolamin content >99.4 % by weight and a diethanolamin content
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for processing at least partly deactivated polymerization catalysts for the polymerization or copolymerization of THF which are contaminated with the polymerization or copolymerization products of THF. The inventive method comprises the following steps: (a) purifying in a first step the polymerization catalyst by treating it with water vapor at a temperature of 80 to 250 DEG C and a pressure of 0.5 to 40 bar and preferably (b) regenerating the purified polymerization catalyst in a second step.
Abstract:
Abstract:
A process for working up at least partially deactivated polymerization catalysts for the polymerization or copolymerization of THF which are contaminated with the products of the polymerization or copolymerization of THF comprises(a) in a first step, cleaning the polymerization catalyst by treatment with steam at from 80 to 250° C. and a pressure of from 0.5 to 40 bar and, preferably,(b) in a second step, regenerating the clean polymerization catalyst.
Abstract:
In a process for preparing polytetrahydrofuran, tetrahydrofuran copolymers, diesters or monoesters of these polymers having a low color number, the polymers obtained by cationic polymerization of tetrahydrofuran are hydrogenated in the presence of a macroporous, supported heterogeneous catalyst comprising at least one metal of groups 7 to 10 of the Periodic Table of the Elements as active metal.
