SOLUTION: In a method for producing a pyrrole expressed by formula (R1 R2, R3 and R4 are each the same or different and express each H, a 1-12C alkyl or a 3-12C cycloalkyl) by dehydrogenating a pyrrolidine expressed by formula II in the presence of a supported noble metal catalyst, the dehydrogenation is carried out at 150-300 deg.C and 0.01-50 bar pressure, the noble metal catalyst contains 30-100 mass % of a) palladium on a rare earth oxide or an oxide of the forth family element (transition family IV) or b) a platinum/palladium mixture on aluminum oxide, a rare earth oxide or an oxide of the forth family element and 0-70 mass % of an alkali metal oxide or an alkaline earth metal oxide.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an effective and economical method for producing pure triethylenediamine(TEDA) and its solution. SOLUTION: This method for producing pure triethylenediamine solution comprises evaporating triethylenediamine and introducing the gas state triethylenediamine into a liquid solvent. The gaseous triethylendiamine is obtained from the top of a column or its side discharging port. Further, the pure triethylenediamine solution is produced by following the above method and then crystallizing the triethylenediamine from the solution.
