Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved process for purifying crude triethylenediamine (TEDA) with high quality and high purity in a simple and inexpensive process. SOLUTION: The process purifies triethylenediamine (TEDA) by distillation, wherein the fractionation is carried out in a dividing wall column. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an effective and economical method for producing pure triethylenediamine(TEDA) and its solution. SOLUTION: This method for producing pure triethylenediamine solution comprises evaporating triethylenediamine and introducing the gas state triethylenediamine into a liquid solvent. The gaseous triethylendiamine is obtained from the top of a column or its side discharging port. Further, the pure triethylenediamine solution is produced by following the above method and then crystallizing the triethylenediamine from the solution. The liquid solvent is selected from the group consisting of cyclic or non-cyclic hydrocarbons, chlorinated aliphatic hydrocarbons, aromatic hydrocarbons, alcohols, ketones, aliphatic carboxylic acid esters, aliphatic nitriles and ethers.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve qualities of piperazine, especially its color and color stability in a method for continuously distilling and removing piperazine from a mixture of ethylenediamine and piperazine by distilling the mixture under high-pressure at elevated temperature, discharging ethylenediamine from the top of a distillation column and piperazine from the bottom of the distillation column. SOLUTION: The method for continuously distilling and removing piperazine from a mixture of ethylenediamine and piperazine comprises a process of direct circulation treatment in which piperazine discharged from the bottom of the distillation column is transported through an evaporation apparatus operated at about 160-about 170°C and returned to the distillation apparatus and a process in which piperazine is retained in a system for the circulation treatment for 30-about 60 minutes and then discharged in a state of vapor from a side discharge port at the bottom of the distillation column. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for purifying triethylenediamine(TEDA) by evaporating TEDA, transferring the gas state TEDA into a liquid solvent and then continuously crystallizing from the solvent, enabling the re-circulation of at least a part of the used solvent into the purification method and also increasing the yield of the TEDA. SOLUTION: This method for purifying the TEDA is provided by extraction- treating a mother liquor obtained after the crystallization of the TEDA by using an extraction agent which is incompatible or slightly compatible with the solvent of the mother liquor and in which the TEDA is easily dissolvable, and returning the mother liquor poor in the TEDA obtained after the extraction and/or the extraction agent rich in the TEDA and used for the extraction to the purification method.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an efficient and economical method for production by which pure tetraethylenediamine(TEDA) and its solution are improved in order to obtain the TEDA and TEDA solution of improved quality in relation to color, color stability, odor and purity. SOLUTION: This method for producing the solution of the triethylenediamine(TEDA) comprises evaporating the TEDA from a mixture containing a solvent or a diluent wherein the solvent or diluent has 170-250 deg.C boiling point under atmospheric pressure (=1.01325 bars) and passing the TEDA in the form of vapor through a liquid solvent.
Abstract:
Highly pure triethylenediamine is obtained by a process in which triethylenediamine is freed from high boilers and then the triethylenediamine is vaporized from the mixture thus obtained and is passed into a liquid solvent. The process makes it possible in particular to obtain highly pure solutions of triethylenediamine. Crystallization is generally unnecessary.
Abstract:
Process for recovering cyclododecatriene (CDT) from a solution containing CDT and high boilers such as deactivated catalyst and polymers, which includes feeding the solution into a preheater and heating it, subsequently depressurizing it through a downstream pressure maintenance device and feeding the resulting two-phase mixture into a helical tube evaporator and there reducing the CDT content of the liquid phase by partial evaporation and discharging a gaseous product stream having an increased concentration of CDT.
