    Abstract: In the present invention, there is disclosed a process for preparing amines of the general formula I in which Re1, Re2, Re3, Re4, Re5, Re6 represent hydrogen, alkyl containing 1 to 20 carbon atoms, alkenyl having 2 to 20 carbon atoms, alkynyl having 2 to 20 carbon atoms, cycloalkyl having 3 to 20 carbon atoms, alkylcycloalkyl having 4 to 20 carbon atoms in the alkyl moiety, cycloalkylalkyl having 4 to 20 carbon atoms in the cycloalkyl moiety, aryl, alkylaryl containing 7 to 20 carbon atoms in the alkyl moiety, or aralkyl containing 7 to 20 carbon atoms in the aryl moiety, Re1 and Re2 together represent a saturated or unsaturated divalent alkylene chain containing 3 to 19 carbon atoms and Re3 or Re5 denotes alkyl containing 21 to 200 carbon atoms, alkenyl containing 21 to 200 carbon atoms, or taken together they represent a divalent alkylene chain containing 2 to 12 carbon atoms, by reacting olefins of the general formula II, wherein Re3, Re4, Re5 and Re6 are as indicated above with ammonia or primary or secondary amines of the general formula III, in which Re1 and Re2 are as specified above, at a temperature ranging from 200 to 350 degC and pressure of 10 to 30 MPa in the presence of heterogeneous catalysts and in which process zeolites of the PSH-3, MCM-22, SSZ-25 type or mixtures thereof are used as heterogeneous catalysts.

    Abstract: In the present invention there is disclosed a process for preparing amines of the general formula I, in which Re1, Re2, Re3, Re4, Re5 and Re6 represent a hydrogen atom, alkyl containing 1 to 20 carbon atoms, alkenyl containing 2 to 20 carbon atoms, alkynyl containing 2 to 20 carbon atoms, cycloalkyl containing 3 to 20 carbon atoms, alkylcycloalkyl containing 4 to 20 carbon atoms in the alkyl moiety, cycloalkylalkyl containing 4 to 20 carbon atoms in the cycloalkyl moiety, aryl, alkylaryl containing 7 to 20 carbon atoms in the alkyl moiety or aralkyl containing 7 to 20 carbon atoms in the aryl moiety, Re1 and Re2 form together a saturated or unsaturated bivalent alkylene having 3 to 9 carbon atoms, Re3 or Re5 represent alkyl containing 21 to 200 carbon atoms, alkenyl containing 21 to 200 carbon atoms or together they form bivalent alkylene having 2 to 12 carbon atoms. The preparation of the above described amines comprises reacting the olefin of the general formula II, in which Re3, Re4, Re5, and Re6 are as specified above with ammonia or with a primary or secondary amine of the general formula III, in which Re1 and Re2 are as defined above at a temperature ranging from 200 to 350 degC and pressure in the range of 10 to 30 MPa in the presence of crystalline oxides of alumophosphates having faujasite structure, whereby this preparation process is very selective and provides good yields of the desired product.
