The present invention relates to an expression vector comprising a gene encoding a prion protein of Capra hircus and a cell transduced by the vector. The present invention can be used for manufacturing a cell having polymorphism, which represents Capra hircus bred in Korea, and a transduced mouse; and can be effectively used for developing an animal experimental model for studies including diagnosis of prion diseases which include scrapie occurred in goat family animals, and for confirming if domestic TSE diseases interspecifically spread or not.

PURPOSE: A medium for maintainig and determining west nile is provided to reduce the exposure by high risk virus and to shorten the use of harmful reagents. CONSTITUTION: A medium for maintaining and detecting west nile contains alpha-MEM or DMEM containing 1-10 g/L of glucose and pH indicator. The pH indicator is phenol red. A potency assay method for detecting west nile comprises: a step of culturing west nile host cells and a sample in the medium; and a step of measuring the pH concentration of the medium to detecting west nile virus and tittering west nile in a sample. The host cells are monkey kidney cells.

PURPOSE: A composition containing Rubi Fructus extract is provided to inhibit modified prion production and to prevent or treat BSE. CONSTITUTION: A veterinary composition for preventing or treating BSE contains Rubi Fructus extract. The extract is prepared using water, low alcohol of C1-C4, and a mixture solvent thereof. The concentration of the extract is 6.25ug/ml. The daily dose of the composition is 0.0001-100 mg/kg. A feed additive composition for preventing or treating BSE contains the extract. A feed contains the extract.

PURPOSE: A monoclonal antibody for specifically identifying and detecting abnormal prion of chronic wasting disease is provided. CONSTITUTION: A fusion cell line of deposit number KCLRF-BP-00214 produces a monoclonal antibody for detecting abnormal prion of chronic wasting disease. A method for preparing fusion cell line comprises: a step of inoculating a peptide of sequence number 1 to knock-out mouse; a step of isolating B cells from the mouse; and a step of fusing the B cells with mouse myeloma cells. The monoclonal antibody is used for detecting the abnormal prion through western blotting.

CONSTITUTION: A vaccine virus for swine fever, Flc-LOM-BErns virus(KFCC11442P) contains a nucleotide of sequence number 1. An Erns gene of CSFV(classical swine fever virus) is substituted with Erns gene of BVDV(bovine viral disease virus) in the vaccine virus. The vaccine virus is Erns gene marker, Erns serologic marker or END(Exaltaton of Newcastle Disease virus) bio marker. A method for manufacturing swine vaccine virus, Flc-LOM-BErns virus(KFCC11442P) comprises: a step of extracting genomic RNA from swine fever virus strain; a step of synthesizing full-length cDNA to total RNA; a step of removing Erns gene from the synthesized cDNA; and a step of inserting Erns gene of BVDV.

PURPOSE: A method for diagnosis of foot and mouth disease and a diagnostic kit are provided, thereby rapidly and accurately diagnosing foot and mouth disease with a small amount of a sample, and easily and rapidly diagnosing foot and mouth disease of domestic animals in the field. CONSTITUTION: The method for diagnosis of foot and mouth disease comprises the steps of: (1) introducing a testing sample into a loading area of a strip; (2) combining a detecting reagent with a marker with a target material in the sample to prepare a complex; (3) developing the complex on a membrane; and (4) measuring the appearance change of a reaction portion having one or more fixing phase selected from antigen, antibody or hapten which is obtainable through the immune reaction from FMDV in a certain region of the membrane.
