    Abstract: PURPOSE: A post treatment system of exhaust gas is provided to rapidly increase the temperature of the exhaust gas passing through catalysts while guaranteeing insulation effect through an inner empty space of a water jacket by discharging coolants of the water jacket at an early stage of the starting. CONSTITUTION: A post treatment system of exhaust gas comprises an exhaust line, catalysts(140), and a water jacket(160). The exhaust gas discharged from an engine(100) passes through the exhaust line. The catalysts are installed in the exhaust line, and reduce harmful materials in the exhaust gas. The water jacket is installed in the exhaust line, and formed around an exhaust pipe(150) disposed at the front end of the catalysts. The overheating of the catalysts is prevented while the coolants flowing through the water jacket cools the exhaust gas passing through the exhaust pipe.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: An exhaust gas post-treatment method and a system thereof are provided to precisely control amount of the hydrocarbon flowing in as a SCR(Selective Catalytic Reduction). CONSTITUTION: An exhaust gas post-treatment method comprises next steps. Set discharging amount of the hydrocarbon and nitrogen oxide is selected according to a driving condition of an engine(S220). A temperature difference between the front and rear sides of a SCR(S230). An actual inflow amount of the hydrocarbon into the SCR is calculated by using the temperature difference and a set efficiency value of SCR(S260). The actual inflow amount of the hydrocarbon and the set discharging amount of the nitrogen oxide are under than the set value, the inflow amount of the hydrocarbon into the SCR is increased by using a post-spraying. The actual inflow amount of the hydrocarbon and the set discharging amount of the nitrogen oxide are under than the set value, the post-spraying is not performed.
