Abstract: PURPOSE: A curtain airbag of a vehicle is provided to preferentially protect the upper body of a passenger in the broadside collision of vehicle by charging gas in an upper body protecting chamber. CONSTITUTION: A curtain airbag of a vehicle comprises an inflator(100), a gas divider(200), and upper body protecting chambers(300,400). The inflator is installed in a loop side rail of a vehicle. The inflator receives impact signals in the collision of vehicle and produces gas. The gas divider is connected to the inflator. The gas divider divides and emits the gas produced from the inflator. A head protecting chamber is installed in the loop side rail of the vehicle and is connected to the gas divider. The chest protecting chamber is connected to the lower part of the head protecting chamber. The chest protecting chamber, independent of the head protecting chamber, is connected to the gas divider.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A center airbag for vehicle is provided to protect the head and neck part of a passenger by preventing the bending of the neck and head using an air cushion in collision. CONSTITUTION: A center airbag for vehicle comprises a pair of seats(11,12), a console box(20), and an air cushion(30). Headrests(11a,12a) are attached to each seat. The console box comprises a top cover and an arm rest. The top cover is installed between seats. The arm rest is located on the lower part of the top cover. The air cushion is built in the console box. The air cushion opens the top cover to be inflated toward upper part. The upper section of the air cushion is inflated between headrests in order to prevent the moving of the air cushion side to side, when the air cushion is pushed toward one direction due to the movement of a passenger. The lower section(33) of the air cushion is inflated on the arm rest to be smaller than the interval of the seats.

Abstract: A locking structure for a tilt cap of a cap-over truck is provided to improve reliability of an alarming unit by preventing the alarming unit from operating when a cap is not perfectly locked. A locking structure for a tilt cap of a cap-over truck is structured as follows. A striker is mounted to a back panel of the tilt cap. A floating bar is mounted to a bridge mounted to side frames on both sides and connected by a buffering unit. Additionally, a latch is mounted to the floating bar. A tilt lock switch(40) is mounted to a latch housing and connected to an alarming unit. The striker is locked by the latch. The tilt lock switch supports a reciprocating motion of a slider(43) by mounting a plunger(42) to be protruded from one side of a housing(41). A guide pin(44) is formed on the slider to be inserted in a guide hole(46) formed on a supporting plate(45), and wound by a coil spring(47) thereon. Arc contact points(49a,49b) are fixed to a supporting wall(48) formed to the slider. A contact point intermittent plate(50) is mounted to the slider.
