    Abstract: PURPOSE:To allow carriers to move smoothly to biaxial directions alternately by setting a guide for the carriers to a weaver-driving mechanism so that the carriers can freely moves in the biaxial directions crossing rectangularly to each other or in the direction to crossing rectangularly to the axis. CONSTITUTION:Carriers 3 are regularly arranged inside the weaver-driving mechanism and the rod-driving mechanism provided with a plurality of rods 46 for running the carriers and driving units 45 is set on the 4 peripheral sides of the mechanism. When the carrier 3 is allowed to move, the guides 47, 48 guiding the carrier are equipped with a plurality of guide rods 49 arranged in parallel and the carrier is slided. The row of the carriers move along the guides 47, 48.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide precursor fiber assembly with flame resistance while preventing fusing among single fibers, by applying, in advance, a silicone compound to said assembly to be subjected to heating process in a fluidized bed consisting of heating medium granules. CONSTITUTION:A precursor fiber assembly 101 is afforded with a silicone compound before feeding to the heating medium fluidized bed 5 in an oven 1 for provision of flame resistance. Said silicone compound can be applied either in the form of a lubricant or incorporated in the raw polymer. The amount of said silicone compound to be given uniformly is such as to be 0.1-5wt.% based on the fiber. Thus, even when subjected to heating process at high temperatures, fusing among single fibers will be prevented.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve durability and transmission capacity of the belt by mounting an upper cover to a block so that the upper cover can press a band against the block, and installing a contacting and pressing part movable relative to the block in the longitudinal direction of the band. CONSTITUTION:Convex parts 3a, 3b for engagement are installed on both upper and lower faces of an endless band 1 in which reinforcing wires are burried, and friction-transmission faces F capable of being contact with pulleys and pressed against them are provided on both sides of a block 4. And a concave part 6 for engaging a convex part 3b is formed on the bottom of a notch- concave parts 5 of the block 4, pinholes 10 being formed in both sides of the notch-concave parts. Further, a concave part 8 for engaging the convex part 3a is formed on the lower face of the upper cover 7 opposed to the band 1, pinholes being formed in the upper cover. Thus, the convex parts 3a, 3b are engaged with the concave parts 8, 6, and an engaging pin 11 is inserted in the pinholes 10, 9. The upper cover 7 can therefore make a circular motion relative to the block 4, so that excessive loads to the band 1 can be prevented, and the durability and transmission capacity of the belt can be improved.
