Abstract: Cationic polymers (I) are used in hair cosmetic formulations. (I) are obtained by: (1) free radical-initiated copolymerization of (a) 60-99 wt.% optionally substituted, optionally quaternized 1-vinylimidazole, (b) 1-40 wt.% acid or salt containing a polymerizable double bond and (c) 0-30 wt.% other comonomer and (2) quaternization if an unquaternized 1-vinylimidazole is used. An Independent claim is also included for shampoo formulations containing 0.01-5 wt.% (I).

Also claimed are compositions in which the sulphonate group-containing polyamide is obtained from 0-19.9 (preferably 0-10) mol.% 2-12C monoaminocarboxylic acid and/or its lactam, 40.05-50 (preferably 45-50) mol.% (a), 0.5-49.5 (preferably 5-35) mol.% (b) and 0.5-49.5 (preferably 15-45) mol.% (c).

Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing solid dosing forms by mixing at least one polymeric binding agent, at least one active substance, and optional common additives while producing a plastic mixture and during shaping, whereby a copolymer from a N-vinyl lactam and from an copolymerizable monomer with a hydrophobic radical is used as a polymeric binding agent. Dosing forms which slowly release the active substance are obtained in a simple and economical manner.
