    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. The method may include receiving, from a network node, a configuration for radar waveform reporting, the radar waveform reporting providing object detection for one or more objects within a detectable range, receiving a radar waveform, and transmitting, to the network node according to the received configuration, a radar reporting message including an indication of one or more parameter values associated with the received radar waveform.

    Abstract: Techniques are provided for processing frequency domain non¬ contiguous positioning reference signals. An example method for determining a time of arrival of a frequency domain non-contiguous positioning reference signal includes receiving the frequency domain non-contiguous positioning reference signal, determining a first estimate of the time of arrival (1204) based on a narrowband processing of the frequency domain non-contiguous positioning reference signal, performing a wideband processing of the frequency domain non-contiguous positioning reference signal based on the first estimate of the time of arrival, and determining a second estimate of the time of arrival (1214) based on the first estimate of the time of arrival and the wideband processing of the frequency domain non¬ contiguous positioning reference signal.

    Abstract: A method of managing positioning reference signal transmission includes: instructing a transmission point to apply a muting pattern regarding transmission of a reference signal including first and second reference signal resources, where a first instance of the first reference signal resource includes one or more first resource elements across one or more first OFDM symbols within a slot, and a second instance of the second reference signal resource includes one or more second resource elements across one or more second OFDM symbols within the slot; and instructing the transmission point to transmit, unmuted, at least one of the one or more second resource elements, of at least one of the one or more second OFDM symbols, despite the muting pattern indicating to mute transmission of the at least one of the one or more second resource elements of the at least one of the one or more second OFDM symbols.

    Abstract: In an aspect, a UE receives a set of tracking reference signal (TRS) configurations associated with a respective set of cells, and performs a set of spatial measurements associated with a set of TRSs on resources configured by the respective set of TRS configurations.     Abstract: A user equipment (UE) provides to a location server a recommendation or request for positioning technologies and/or methods that may be appropriate for the environment in which the UE is located. The UE provides the recommendation or request as a message including a priority list of one or more specific positioning technologies, one or more specific methods of a positioning technology, or a combination thereof. The UE based prioritization for positioning may be provided unsolicited or requested by the location server. The UE based prioritization for positioning may be provided as part of a message used in current positioning protocols, such as Long Term Evolution (LTE) Positioning Protocol (LPP), e.g., by ranking information elements (lEs) associated with each positioning technology and method in the body of the message or as part of a common IE.
