Abstract: An apparatus and method for dispensing a dilute liquid concentrate with a diluent to form a dilute use solution for dispensing into a bottle. The dispensing apparatus 10 includes an aspirator 60 and a controller 50. The controller 50 includes an activation switch that is operable by being depressed in a first direction. A slide actuator 80 is mounted relative to the controller for movement in a second direction. The dispensing apparatus also includes a lock-out member 100 to prevent the inadvertent use of an incorrect bottle while dispensing the use solution.

The product holder (210) carried by a scale (240), wherein weight of the concentrate is concerned. A moveable container holder (215) is moveable between a first position and a second position. The container holder is positioned between the housing (201) and the container (204). A cover (216) is operatively connected to the container holder (215) at a connection. A cam surface is adjacent the housing (201). The cover (216) has a cam (216d) for contacting the cam surface (201 a), wherein when the cover (216) is moved from a closed position to an open position, the connection moves upward, thereby carrying the container holder (215) and the container (204) which are moved upward lifting the container (204) off of the product holder (210).

Abstract: A multiple product dispensing system (100) includes a plurality of use solution dispensers (10a, 10b, 10c) and a controller (110) for selecting one of the dispensers (10a, 10b, 10c) according to a preset regimen, e.g., selecting different dispensers on different days of the week. Each dispenser (10a, 10b, 10c) dispenses a controlled concentration of use solution using a diluent delivery apparatus (13) that delivers a diluent to form a liquid concentrate from a solid chemical composition (22), and to form make-up diluent for diluting the liquid concentrate and forming a use solution of controlled concentration. A foam reducer (24) reduces the kinetic energy of the make-up diluent prior to mixing with the liquid concentrate to reduce foaming. An unskilled operator may operate the dispensing system (100) to dispense a use solution of carefully controlled concentration, and the controller (110) will automatically select the proper dispenser according to the preset regimen, without any additional input on the part of the operator. Therefore, the likelihood of operator error occurring is greatly reduced by the automatic selection of the proper dispenser (10a, 10b, 10c) and the control over use solution concentration.

Abstract: A method and system provide an automated cleaning apparatus (20) for cleanin g various types of articles, wherein each type of article is detected and wash ed according to its own pre-determined combination.
