Abstract: A polyolefin moulding composition essentially comprising a polyolefin which comprises an olefin having at least 3 carbon atoms, of the formula R -CH=CH-R , in which R and R are identical or different and are hydrogen or straight-chain or branched C1-C15-alkyl, or R and R , together with the atoms connecting them, form a ring system, and from 0 to 10% by weight of ethylene or a second olefin as defined above as comonomer, characterised in that the MFI (230/2.16) is from 5 to 1000 g/10 min, the MFI (230/5) is from 15 to 3000 g/10 min, the molecular weight Mw is from 75,000 to 350,000 g/mol, the polydispersity Mw/Mn is from 1.8 to 3.5, the viscosity index is from 70 to 300 cm /g, the melting point is from 120 to 165@C and the isotactic block length is from 25 to 150, and an ether-extractable content of less than 2% by weight, based on the total weight of the polymer.

Abstract: : Polyolefin molding composition for producing fibers, filaments and webs by melt spinning Polyolefin molding composition consisting essentially of a polyolefin formed from an olefin having at least 3 carbon atoms of the formula Ra-CH = CH-Rb, where Ra and Rb are identical or different and each is hydrogen or C1-C15-alkyl, straight-chain or branched, or Ra and Rb together with the atoms joining them together form a ring system, and from 0 to 10% by weight of ethylene or of a second olefin have the abovementioned meaning as comonomer, characterized by a 230/2.16 MFI from 5 to 1000 g/10 min, a 230/5 MFI from 15 to 3000 g/10 min, a molecular weight (Mw) from 75,000 to 350,000 g/mol, a polydispersity (Mw/Mn) from 1.8 to 3.5, a viscosity number from 70 to 300 cm3/g, a melting point from 120 to 165.degree.C, an isotactic block length from 25 to 150, and ether extractables less than 2% by weight, based on the total weight of the polymer.
