Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent leak arising from electrical insulating performance of a refrigerating machine oil from occurring by charging an enclosed compressor with an HFC-based refrigerant and ester-based refrigerating machine oil with a specific volume resistance of a specific value or higher. SOLUTION: This refrigerating device comprises refrigerant whose major component is HFC-based refrigerant, an enclosed compressor that compresses the refrigerant, and a refrigerating cycle that includes the enclosed compressor. The enclosed compressor has an enclosed casing 11 that houses a mechanical portion 1 and a motor portion 10 that drives the mechanical portion 1. The motor portion 10 is provided with a winding covered with an insulation jacket and an insulating film. Because of the HFC-based refrigerant and an ester-based refrigerating machine oil 12 whose specific volume resistance is 1013 Ωcm or higher packed in the enclosed casing 11, leak and electric shock can be effectively prevented thanks to the high electrical insulation performance of the ester oil itself.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure stability of the performance of a refrigerating cycle over a long period of time in the case where use is made of a refrigerant containing hydrofluorocarbon and a refrigerating machine oil of polyol ester as working mediums by disposing a mechanism for scavenging organic acids and free metallic ions. SOLUTION: A mechanism for scavenging organic acids and free metallic ions is disposed in a refrigerating cycle. To put it in detail, the mechanism has a structure combining a moisture absorbent, a weakly basic ion exchange resin, and a chelating resin, that is, for example, the moisture absorbent 7 in beads, the ion exchange resin 8 in beads, and the chelating resin 9 in beads are stuck in a mesh 10 and placed in a container 11 which permits the passage of working fluid. In a refrigerating cycle having a refrigerating compressor, condenser, expansion mechanism, and evaporator each equipped with such a scavenging mechanism 12 for organic acids and free metallic ions the performance can be stabilized over a lond period of time.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To enable a moisture adsorption agent to be adjusted even if the moisture adsorption agent is increased or decreased in its volume by a method wherein filters are arranged at both sides of the moisture adsorption agent within a metallic pipe, the moisture adsorption agent is held by holding metal fittings at both sides of the filters, and a dryer adjusting a holding force is arranged in a refrigerant pipe between an expansion valve of an outdoor device and a service valve of the outdoor device. CONSTITUTION: Non-azeotropic mixed refrigerant not containing chlorine and lubricant oil of ester system having compatibility are sealingly filled in an air conditioner and a dryer 7 having moisture adsorption agent 22 in a metallic pipe 21 is arranged a refrigerant pipe 11 between an expansion valve and a service valve of an outdoor device. Moisture adsorption agent is held by holding fittings 25, 26 through filters 23, 24 at both sides of the moisture adsorption agent 22 within the dryer 7 and then one holding metal fitting 25 is provided with a rod-like holding metal fitting 27 passing through the other holding metal fitting 26. A resilient member 28 is fixed to the rod-like metal fitting 27 so as to push the holding fitting 26. A resilient fitting 28 is fixed to the rod-like fitting metal 27 to press the holding metal fitting 26. With such an arrangement as above, even if the moisture adsorption agent 22 is increased or decreased in its volume, a force for pressing the resilient member 28 with a nut 30 arranged at the rod-like metal fitting 27 can be adjusted, so that it can be accommodated for a capability of an air conditioner.

With the throttle mechanism as a flow rate varying throttle mechanism, a stoppage oriented controller 13 of the compressor is provided to increase the flow rate of the flow rate varying mechanism 12 after the expansion valve 5 is closed fully during the stoppage of the compressor. Furthermore, with the throttle mechanism 12 as flow rate varying throttle mechanism, a start-oriented controller 14 of the compressor is provided to increase the flow rate of the flow rate varying throttle mechanism 12 at the starting of the compressor.

Thus, the gas refrigerant flows from an outlet of a first filter 20 to a bypass tube 31, Since a second filter 29 in which hydrogen occlusion alloy 30 is filled is provided in the tube 31, the hydrogen in the gas refrigerant having passed through the filter 29 is removed, and the hydrogen concentration in the compressor 2 is lowered. Thus, a quantity of the hydrogen generated in the most quantity in a refrigerating system can be reduced.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent coolant lubrication at the time of starting by providing a mechanical part, a motor part, an oil supplying device, and heater in a sealed type caing wherein coolant and refregerator oil are sealed, and also providing a sensor on a lower part of an oil supplying part of the oil supply device for sensing separation of oil and coolant. CONSTITUTION:When a motor 10 of a sealed type compressor is stopped, an insulative resistance between an insulative resistance sensor 16 and the sealed type compressor is measured. When the insulative compresse is a specified value or lower, electric current is supplied to a heater 14 by means of an electric supply control device 15 for heater to heat refregerator oil and coolant. Separation of the refregerator oil and the coolant is prevented by increasing a temperature and coolant lubrication at the starting time of the compressor is avoided. Electric insulativeness is improved because a solution ratio of the coolant into the refregerator oil is decreased and an oil level is lowered.
