PURPOSE: Provided are a novel Pythium myriotylum strain, a pathogen of plants, and a method for the biological control of weeds using same, thereby effectively and selectively removing weeds from a rice field. CONSTITUTION: The novel strain, Pythium myriotylum MD2(KCTC 10034BP) is used for selectively controlling weeds selected from American black cherry, Monochoria vaginalis, yellow birtch, Chondostereum purpureum, Northern joint vetch, Colletotrichum gloeosporioides f. sp. aeschynomene, Morrenia odorata, Phyrophthora palmivora, Poa annua, Pseudomonas gladioli, etc.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A process for preparing a methoxy acrylate derivative containing sulfur having a new structure by bonding a 4-quinolinone group or a benzothiopyrane-4-one group to a methoxy acrylate group through sulfur is provided. Whereby, the product has an excellent antibacterial activity against various plant pathogenic bacteria and is useful as a microbial agent. CONSTITUTION: The titled compound of formula(1) is prepared by the reaction of a compound of formula(2) with a compound of formula(3) at -20 to 50deg.C in the presence of an inorganic or organic base. In formulae, R1, R2, R3 and R4 are each independently H, halogen, C1-3 alkyl, C1-3 alkoxy, nitro or C1-3 haloalkyl, R5 is H, halogen, C1-3 alkyl or -C(=O)-R6, R6 is C1-6 alkyl, X is S or NH, Y is CH or N, Z is halogen, toluene sulfonate(OTs) or methane sulfonate(-OMs).

PURPOSE: A method for biological control of plant diseases using Chaetomium globosum F0142 and chaetoviridins A and B produced by the same is provided, thereby effectively controlling plant diseases. CONSTITUTION: A method for biological control of plant diseases using Chaetomium globosum F0142(KCTC 0957BP) and chaetoviridins A and B produced by the same comprises spraying the cultured medium, mycelia or spores of Chaetomium globosum F0142, or chaetoviridins A and B isolated from the Chaetomium globosum cultured medium to plants, wherein the plant disease is rice blast disease, late blight, leaf rust or phytophthora blight. The chaetoviridins A and B are represented by the formula(1) and (2) respectively, and purified by extraction of Chaetomium globosum F0142(KCTC 0957BP) with ethyl acetate, first silica gel column chromatography, thin layer chromatography and second silica gel column chromatography, sequentially.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: Provided are surfactant compositions to enhance the absorbency of fungicide, dimethomorph, into plant leaf thereby reducing the dosage while increasing protecting/curing effect of the fungicide. A fungicide composition containing them, non ionic surfactant and agriculturally allowed carrier is also described. CONSTITUTION: The compositions are comprised of non ionic surfactant, 0-20wt.% additional emulsifier or assistant dispersants and 0-97wt.% carrier. The surfactants are at least one selected from polyoxyethylene stearyl ether, polyoxyethylene cetyl ether, polyoxyethylene oleyl ether and polyoxyethylene lauryl ester where the additional polymerization rate of ethylene oxide is 5-25 moles. The additional emulsifier and assistant dispersant are selected from polyoxyethylene nonylphenyl ether, polyoxyethylene tristearylphenyl ether, polyoxyethylene polyoxypropylene tristearyl ether, polyoxyethylene alkylaryl sulfonate, sodium dodecylbenzene sulfonate and sodium dioctylsulfosuccinate. The carriers are water, non water soluble organic solvent, water mixed organic solvent, natural or synthetic minerals and natural or synthetic polymers.

PURPOSE: The 1-phenyl 4-azolyl pyrazole derivatives, a producing method thereof, and a bactericidal composition containing the derivatives useful for agriculture and gardening are provided for killing a wide range of plant bacteria having tolerance to the conventional bactericides. CONSTITUTION: The 1-phenyl 4-azolyl pyrazole derivatives useful as a bactericidal agent are represented by the formula (1), in which n is an integer of 0 to 2; X is 1 to 3 of C1-C3 alkyl, 1 to 3 of chloro, 1 to 3 of fluoro, 1 to 3 of C1-3 alkoxy, nitro, trihaloalkyl, 3,4-ethylenedioxy, or substituted or unsubstituted phenyl or phenoxy; Y is hydrogen, 1 to 3 of C1-C3 alkyl, 1 to 3 of chloro, 1 to 3 of fluoro, 1 to 3 of C1-3 alkoxy, nitro, trihaloalkyl, or substituted or unsubstituted phenyl; and Z is CH or N. The 1-phenyl 4-azolyl pyrazole derivatives is produced by reacting azolyl alpha-oxo ketenedithioacetal of formula (2) with phenylhydrazin of formula (3) in organic solvents. The bactericidal composition contains an effective amount of the 1-phenyl 4-azolyl pyrazole derivatives.

PURPOSE: Oxazinyl derivatives of the formula (I) wherein: R is H or methyl; X is H, Cl, trifluoromethyl, 2,4-dichlorophenyl, methoxy, or fluoro; Y is morpholine, piperidine, pyrrole, pyrrolidine, imidazole, or triazole; Z is phenyl, 2-fluorophenyl, 3-fluorophenyl, 2,4-chlorophenyl, or benzyl) which can be used as bactericide for agriculture and gardening are prepared. CONSTITUTION: The acetophenone derivatives of the formula (II) are provided in carbon disulfide and brome is added to the solution to give dibromoacetophenone derivatives, which is dissolved in methanol and hydroxyamine HCl salt is added to give oxime derivatives of the formula (III). The oxime of the formula (III) is dissolved in methylene chloride and cycled with arylether compound of the formula (IV) to give bromooxazine derivatives of the formula (V), which are dissolved in THF and reacted with morpholine, piperidine, pyrrole, pyrrolidine, imidazole, or triazole to give the compound of the formula (I).
