Abstract: A liner mounting structure for measuring piston friction in which a liner is mounted in a cylinder block of an internal combustion engine and is cylindrically shaped to define a space in which a piston undergoes rectilinear motion. A protrusion is formed around an outer circumference of the liner at an upper portion of the liner. A combustion pressure passageway formed in the liner starting from an upper surface of the liner and extending downwardly to a bottom surface of the protrusion. An indentation is formed in the cylinder block corresponding to a position of the protrusion of the liner. An upper O-ring groove formed in the cylinder block above the indentation. A lower O-ring groove is formed in the cylinder block below the indentation, and a center O-ring groove is formed in the cylinder block within the indentation. Abstract: PURPOSE: An oil sensor is provided to simplify the configuration of oil sensor and accurately measure an oil level by measuring the oil level through the phenomenon where the resistance value of resistor changes according to temperature. CONSTITUTION: An oil sensor comprises an upper resistor unit constituted by four resistors(21,22,23,24) having the same resistance value(R1); a central resistor unit constituted by four resistors(31,33) having the same resistance value(R2); a lower resistor unit constituted by four resistors(42,44) having the same resistance value(R3), wherein a first group of resistors(33,23,44,24) are sequentially connected in serial, a second group of resistors(33,23,44,24) are sequentially connected in serial, and the first and second group are connected in parallel; a first differential amplifier(50) for differential amplifying a voltage(V2+V2+V3) at resistors(31,22,42) and a voltage(V1+V3+V1) at resistors(23,44,24), and outputting a voltage(V2-V1); a second differential amplifier(60) for differential amplifying a voltage(V3) at the resistor(42) and a voltage(V1) at the resistor(24), and outputting a voltage(V3-V1); and a micro computer(70) for calculating an oil level by multiplying the length of resistor to the value obtained by dividing the voltage(V2-V1) by the voltage(V3-V1), and displaying the calculated oil level to an oil level display device(80).

Abstract: PURPOSE: A hollow valve spring is provided to improve elastic force of the spring by forming the valve spring with winding a metal wire spirally, and to adjust the elastic force by varying the diameter of the metal wire. CONSTITUTION: A valve spring(1) is formed by winding a tubular metal wire(2) spirally. Inertia moment is increased, and the elastic force of the valve spring to the same weight is improved by forming the hollow metal wire. The elastic force of the valve spring is adjusted by varying the diameter of the metal wire. The elastic force is different according to the height by reducing the diameter of the metal wire gradually. Natural frequency is increased by improving the strength of the spring. Noise and vibration are reduced by adjusting the mass of the spring.
