Abstract:
The present invention relates to a pelvis remedial seated device and a control method thereof for remedying into its original place a women's widened pelvis after child birth. The pelvis remedial seated device is comprised of a seat (10) included a seat cushion (11) on which an occupant is to be seated and left/right seat sides (12a, 12b) provided uprightly at each side end of the seat cushion (11); a pair of air bags (20a, 20b) nested on an inner side of each side for enabling themselves to be expanded or contracted by air supplied into or discharged from the inside of the air bag; and air injection means for providing air pressure to the air bags (20a, 20b); wherein the expanding air pressure in the air bags presses the pelvis portion of an occupant. According to the present invention, the air pressure can artificially press the pelvis portion of the woman with seated or lying down relaxedly without constraining the human body so that rapid the pelvis remedy can be attained.
Abstract:
A chair type air massaging machine comprises a chair body (1) having a seat portion (2) and a backrest portion (3) provided on the rear end of the seat portion; bags (4, 5, 10) provided on the seat portion and the backrest portion, respectively, and adapted to inflate and deflate as compressed air is supplied and discharged; and a compressed air control device (11) for controlling supplying and discharging of compressed air. The bags provided on the seat portion are secured to the seat portion at their rear edges positioned on the side of the backrest portion, and a bag provided on the backrest portion is secured to the backrest portion at its upper end. The compressed air control device (50, 50', 50', 50''') varies a period of time for supplying or discharging of the compressed air or volumes of the bags or flow resistance of supply and discharge pipes for the bags so that even if some bags (35, 39) receive more of weight of a person who is seated on the chair body (30) than the other bags (34, 36a, 36b, 37a, 37b, 38a, 38b, 41a, 41b, 42a, 42b) after the completion of supplying of the compressed air to the bags, they can be expanded just as the other bags.
Abstract:
Abstract:
A lounger-type air manager comprises a lounger body (1) including a seat portion (2) and a backrest portion (3) provided on the rear end of the seat portion, bags (4, 5, 10) provided in the seat portion and the backrest portion and adapted to inflate and deflate when compressed air is fed thereinto and discharged therefrom, and a compressed air control device (11) for controlling the feed and discharge of the compressed air into and from the bags. The bag in the seat portion is fixed at its rear edge portion on the backrest side to the seat portion, and the bag in the backrest portion is fixed at its upper end portion to the backrest portion. The compressed air control device (50, 50', 50'', 50''') changes the charging time or exhaust time for the compressed air, the capacity of each bag, or the flow resistance of a charging/exhaust pipe for each bag so as to make the bag (35, 39) among the bags, which is subjected to a heavier load from the body weight of a person seated on the lounger body (30) than the other bag (34, 36a, 36b, 37a, 37b, 38a, 38b, 41a, 41b, 42a, 42b), has the same inflation as the inflation of the other bag after the feed of the compressed air into those bags is finished.
Abstract:
System to assist a person in walking, consisting of an exoskeleton to be fitted to the person comprising a plurality of articulated structures for the flexion of the lower extremities and a plurality of sensors. The plurality of sensors measures the flexion performed in the joints of the upper extremities and applies a movement that is transmitted to the lower extremities by the articulated structures depending on the measured flexion. Advantageously, the movement is generated by the individual himself or herself as he or she walks and does not require being pre-programmed.
Abstract:
A trunk supporting exoskeleton comprises: a supporting trunk; thigh links configured to move in unison with a person's thighs; and first and second torque generators located on both left and right halves of the person substantially close to the person's hip. The torque generators couple the supporting trunk to the thigh links, and generate torque between the thigh links and the supporting trunk. When the person bends forward such that a predetermined portion of the supporting trunk passes beyond a predetermined angle from vertical, a torque generator(s) imposes a resisting torque between the supporting trunk and the thigh link(s), causing the supporting trunk to impose a force against the person's trunk, and the thigh link(s) to impose a force onto the person's thigh. When the predetermined portion does not pass beyond the predetermined angle, the torque generators impose no resisting torques between said supporting trunk and respective thigh links.
Abstract:
A patient mobility aid provides support for an upper extremity of an associated user. The patient mobility aid includes a frame, and at least first and second wheels operatively secured to and supporting the frame for selective rolling movement. First and second support assemblies are located on first and second sides of the frame, respectively. A reverse motion linkage operatively associated with the first and second support assemblies, the reverse motion linkage including a first state configured to provide independent between the first and second support assemblies, and a second state configured to provide interrelated movement between the first and second support assemblies.
Abstract:
Embodiments disclosed herein relate to a garment system including at least one sensor, and at least one actuator that operates responsive to sensing feedback from the at least one sensor to selectively constrict or selectively dilate at least one flexible compression garment. Such selective constriction or dilation of the at least one flexible compression garment against at least one body part can improve muscle functioning or joint functioning during an activity, such as a sport or other activity.
Abstract:
