Ein Möbelscharnier (1) umfasst eine Montageplatte (2), an der ein Seitenteil (3) angeordnet ist, und ein über einen Traghebel (5) und einen Führungshebel (6) verschwenkbar an dem Seitenteil (3) gelagertes Sσharnierteil (4), wobei zur Dämpfung einer Schließbewegung des Scharnierteils (4) mindestens ein durch den Traghebel (5) bewegbares Dämpfungselement (11, 12, 14) vorgesehen ist. Das mindestens eine Dämpfungselement (11, 12, 14) ist dabei benachbart zu dem Traghebel (5), im Bereich der Verlängerung der Drehachse (8) des Traghebels (5) an dem Seitenteil (3), angeordnet, so dass sich ein kompakter Aufbau ergibt, da das Scharnierteil (4) auf der zum Seitenteil (3) gegenüberliegenden Seite nicht durch Anbau eines Dämpfungselementes verlängert wird.

The invention relates to a folding cover for a cupboard, whereby the folding cover (8) can be displaced between an opened position and a closed position. The folding cover comprises: a first cover element (9), which can be fastened to a cupboard cover (2) in a manner that permits it to pivot around a horizontally arranged first axis (10); a second cover element (11), which is joined to the first cover element (9) in a manner that permits it to pivot around a horizontally arranged second axis (12), and; a cover positioner (14) with a positioning arm (13), which can be fastened to a side wall (3) in a manner that permits it to pivot around a horizontally arranged third axis (15) and which is joined to the second cover element (11) in a manner that permits it to pivot around a horizontally arranged fourth axis (16), whereby the distance between the first axis (10) and the second axis (12) is greater than the distance between the second axis (12) and the fourth axis (16) and is greater than the distance between the second axis (12) and a lower edge (52) of the second cover element (11).

Ein Scharnier für eine Herdklappe umfaßt ein Gehäuse (1), an dem ein Steckteil (2) schwenkbar (10) gelagert ist. Um das von der Feder erzeugte Drehmoment auf einfache Weise beeinflußen zu können, ist eine durch eine Feder (6), vorzugsweise eine Druckfeder, belastete Federführung (3) vorgesehen, die mit einer Rolle (15) versehen ist, die durch eine Kurve (9) des Steckteils (2) geführt ist.

The cylinder (11) actuating the longitudinal guide (5) for sliding the doors (1) actuates said guide with the aid of a C-shaped arm (12) that is integral with the cylinder and hingedly connected to a second arm (14) which is in turn hingedly connected to the guide (5). An articulated rod (16) is hingedly connected to the end of said C-shaped arm (12). Said rod rotates on a shaft (15) to which it conveys a rotational movement during actuation of the cylinder (11). The shaft is in turn designed to transmit said rotational movement generated by the cylinder to the blocking and safety means that keep the doors in embedded or closed position.

A vent (10) comprising a fixed frame (3) and an opening member (5) attached to the fixed frame (3) by hinges (7, 12), the opening member (5) being movable between a position closing the vent (10) and an open position by drive means (9), wherein three hinges (7, 12) support three sides of the opening member (5) and a fourth side is driven by the drive means (9). As a result, smoother opening of such a vent occurs without the need for a second drive means.

A power door operator for transit vehicles utilizing a rodless pneumatic cylinder (10) to open and close doors (2, 3) in the sidewall of a vehicle. Door movement having a controlled door edge force is achieved through coupling an external piston (11) of the cylinder and vehicle doors through belt (16). Magnetic coupling between internal and external pistons of the cylinder provide force having breakaway value applied to the operated door. A novel lock (30, 31, 32, 33) operated by admission of air to the cylinder (10) latches or unlatches the door in its closed position subsequent or prior to door closing or opening. Control of door motion at the ends of its travel is achieved through the use of a novel differential area (10a) in the cylinder. Piston force is modified for positions approaching either end of the cylinder using a sliding rod (40) contained by the piston (10a). Movement of the rod modifies available force.
