PURPOSE: Gas sensing apparatus is provided to sense gas using a phenomenon that periodicity of spectrums changes. CONSTITUTION: The gas sensing apparatus comprises a header unit (230) and a light spectrum analyzer (240). The header unit comprises a sensing material, and forms interference waves by fabry-perot interferometer on a light source (210). The light spectrum analyzer determines whether or not specific gas exists based on changes in the periodicity of spectrums of the interference waves.

PURPOSE: An apparatus for measuring an eye pattern of a very high speed optical signal by a time-wavelength conversion is provided to convert a time waveform with an input optical pulse into a wavelength domain using a linear chirping super-succession optical source and a non-linear interferometer and measure the eye pattern. CONSTITUTION: A super-succession optical source unit(310) generates a linear chirping super-succession optical source. A non-linear interference unit(320) generates a non-linear interference about the super-succession optical source generated by the super-succession optical source unit(310) according to an inputted optical pulse(340). An optical wavelength analyzing unit(330) analyzes an optical wavelength using the result of the non-linear interference about the super-succession optical source and measures an eye pattern.
