Abstract: The present invention relates to a device to raise the temperature of a battery in a hybrid vehicle and a method thereof. The device includes: a generator which generates electric energy by meshing with an engine; a battery connected to the generator through a high-voltage line; a thermal energy generation unit which branches from the high-voltage line to generate heat using the electric energy generated in the generator; and a thermal energy transmission unit connected to the battery and the thermal energy generation unit to supply the thermal energy generated in the thermal energy generation unit to the battery.

Abstract: 본 발명에 따른 4륜구동 하이브리드 차량의 추진 장치는 전륜 차축에 전륜 감속기를 거쳐 연결되는 전륜 전기 모터, 후륜 차축에 후륜 감속기를 거쳐 연결되는 후륜 전기 모터, 상기 전륜 전기 모터와 상기 후륜 전기 모터의 전력 공급선에 전기적으로 연결되는 발전기, 상기 발전기만을 구동시키는 엔진, 상기 전력 공급선에 전기적으로 연결되는 배터리 및 DC/DC 컨버터를 통해 상기 전력 공급선에 전기적으로 연결되는 울트라 커패시터를 포함함으로써, 엔진으로 전륜 차축을 구동할 때와 비교하여 전기 모터로 전륜 차축과 후륜 차축 모두를 구동하면 전기 모터의 저속 고토크 특성으로 인하여 차량의 가속성능과 등판성능 등 기동성이 뛰어나다.
