Abstract: PURPOSE: A hybrid vehicle, a safety device for the hybrid vehicle, and a method for controlling the safety device are provided to rapidly respond the occurrence of electrical malfunction by controlling driving modes according to the analysis result of detected signals based on pre-set data. CONSTITUTION: A hybrid vehicle includes a motor controller(1400), a generator controller(1300), a high voltage battery(1200), a high voltage managing unit(1500), and an electric safety device.
