Abstract: PURPOSE: A composition Angelica utilis makino extract is provided to suppress acetylcholine esterase, to improve learning ability, and to treat neurodegenerative diseases. CONSTITUTION: A pharmaceutical composition for preventing and treating neurodegenerative diseases contains Angelica utilis makino extract as an active ingredient. The Angelica utilis makino extract is a crude extract, non-polar solvent soluble extract, or polar solvent soluble extract. The crude extract is isolates using water, methanol, ethanol, butanol, or mixture solvent thereof. A health food for preventing and treating neurodegenerative diseases contains Angelica utilis makino extract as an active ingredient. The health food is manufactured in the form of powder, granule, tablet, capsule, or beverage.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a composition for preventing and treating alcohol intoxication and withdrawal symptoms, which contains an extract of propolis or chrysin isolated therefrom as an active ingredient.
