Abstract: PURPOSE: A composition for preventing or treating Staphylococcus aureus-derived diseases is provided to suppress growth methicilin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus. CONSTITUTION: A composition for preventing or treating Staphylococcus aureus-derived diseases contains Celosia cristata extract as an active ingredient. The composition is veterinary composition, animal feed additive, feed having animal feed additive, and disinfection composition. The Celosia cristata extract is isolated using water, low alcohol of C1-C4 or mixture solvent thereof. The Staphylococcus aureus-derived disease is bovine mastitis.

Abstract: A method for manufacturing an immune enhancing composition using Zanthoxylli Fructus crust Fizeau polysaccharide extracts as an active ingredient is provided to have a superior immunostimulating activity, to enhance an immunogenicity of animal and to be used as an immunoadjuvant for animal, a vaccine throne and an adjuvant treating agent. A method for manufacturing an immune enhancing composition using Zanthoxylli Fructus crust Fizeau polysaccharide extracts as an active ingredient comprises steps of: obtaining crude extracts by heating Zanthoxylli Fructus crust; concentrating the extracts; and obtaining the polysaccharide fraction by filtering the condensed products.
