Abstract: The present invention relates to gel products using seaweed fulvescens and sea string and gel products thereby. Abstract: The present invention relates to a composition comprising an extract of Capsosiphon fulvescens as an active ingredient for treating or preventing degenerative brain diseases. The Capsosiphon fulvescens extract has a superior neuroprotective effect against free radicals, inhibits generation of free radicals and accumulation of calcium in cells, has an excellent effect of inhibiting acetylcholinesterase (AchE) activities, and has no side effects since derived from natural products, thus a composition comprising the same as an active ingredient can effectively treat, alleviate, or prevent degenerative brain diseases without side effects and can be widely used in applications related to degenerative brain diseases.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a composition comprising Gracilaria chorda extract as an active ingredient for treating, alleviating, or preventing obesity. The Gracilaria chorda extract, which is the active ingredient of the present invention, inhibits differentiation of preadipocytes (3T3-L1), proliferation of adipocytes, and accumulation of fat metabolites, thereby having excellent effects for treating, alleviating, and preventing obesity.
