PURPOSE: A fairness improving method is provided to improve link usage rates by improving fairness between TCP(Transmission Control Protocol) flows in a single domain and a multi-domain environment. CONSTITUTION: The yield fairness of an individual flow is improved in an integrated traffic management method in a differentiated service for a network in a ship. A TCP user uses AS(Assured Service) without managing user flows. The yield and the link usage rate are improved in a minimum bandwidth, a surplus bandwidth, and bandwidth shortage. The improvement of the yield fairness and the link use rate is confirmed in the improved single domain environment and the multi-domain environment.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A cooperative transmission method strong against frequency selective fading is provided to obtain a cooperative diversity gain through asynchronous cooperative communication in a frequency selective fading channel. CONSTITUTION: A source node(S) transmits a generated OFDM(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) transmission symbol to relay nodes(R1,R2) respectively. Each relay node performs an amplification operation to the received symbol. A destination node(D) performs a cyclic prefix removal to the symbol received through each of the relay nodes. The destination node obtains an estimation value of combination symbols transmitted from the source node. The destination node demodulates actual data symbols through a recombination process by using the estimation value of the combination symbols.

The present invention relates to an integrated tourism information providing device based on a voice user interface, and the integrated tourism information providing device according to the present invention evaluates the performance of a speech recognition function by measuring the word error rate in speech recognition, articulation of speech synthesis, and user satisfaction as well as comprehensively provides guidance on tour routes and adjacent tourist attractions as part of the coupling between the tourism sector and the ICT sector. According to the present invention, the mean word error rate can be reduced significantly, the mean accuracy in identifying pronunciations can be improved comparably, and useful information can be provided for a user based on a user satisfaction survey. The present invention reserves resources to avoid data collision due to a new wireless USB device advancing from farther than a three-hop distance by collecting reservation information of a wireless USB device included in a neighboring wireless USB cluster using a dual role device (DRD) in a three-hop distance, and is capable of extending toward a large-scale network. Also, data collision generated by a moving wireless USB device is able to be prevented.

CONSTITUTION: A high order modulation demapping communication method applying an adaptive modulation method in marine time communication includes a stage of applying an approximate formula omitting a logarithmic calculation process and an exponential process in an LLR(Log Likelihood Ratio) method and a stage of determining a reception bit by calculating a distance between a reception signal and a mapping point of a constellation after omitting a multiplication part multiplying a channel estimation value in an approximate formula.

PURPOSE: A packet forwarding control method for improving a TCP(Transmission Control Protocol) performance is provided to allow a user to use a smooth handoff method and a RED(Random Early Detection) buffer management method in a mobile IP(Internet Protocol) path optimization process. CONSTITUTION: A portable terminal forwards packets received from a terminal corresponding to a first FA(Foreign Agent) to a second FA via a buffer of a base station. The corresponding terminal does not catch an access point of the portable terminal. The base station manages the first FA. The base station determines a forwarding process or a discarding process for packets based on RED state information.

PURPOSE: A resource allocation method for a network in a ship is provided to relatively divide delay time guaranteed by each sub-class according to a buffer size required by differentiating the amount of a bandwidth. CONSTITUTION: The amount of a bandwidth allocated in each AS(Assured Service) sub-class is differentiated. Delay time guaranteed by each AS sub-class according to a requested buffer size is divided. An RIO(Random early detection with In and Out) variable value is set based on a buffer size determined according to a network topology and a ratio of the bandwidth. The size of an output link bandwidth, which is reference for access control, is set by receiving the RIO variable value.
