Abstract: A method for preparing the germinated unpolished rice by using an elicitor, and the germinated unpolished rice prepared by the method are provided to improve obesity suppressing effect and lipase inhibitory activity. A method for preparing the germinated unpolished rice by using an elicitor comprises the step of sprouting the unpolished rice in the germination culture medium containing an elicitor at a temperature of 23-27 deg.C for 70-74 ours. Preferably the elicitor is a mixture comprising 0.03-0.05 parts by weight of chitosan and 0.02-0.05 parts by weight of salt based on 1 part by weight of the total germination culture medium.

Abstract: 본 발명은 천일염을 유효성분으로 포함하는 당뇨병 개선 또는 예방용 조성물에 관한 것이다. 특히, 전 세계에서 주로 섭취되고 있는 소금인 암염 또는 정제염이 인슐린의 신호전달과정을 저해하여 인슐린 저항성을 일으키는데 반해, 본 발명에 따른 천일염을 포함하는 당뇨병 개선 또는 예방용 조성물은 인슐린 저항성을 완화시켜, 혈장 내 인슐린 농도를 감소시키면서 혈당을 강하시킬 수 있으므로 당뇨병의 개선 및 예방 효과 우수할 뿐만 아니라, 천연물질을 유효성분으로 하는 것으로 부작용의 문제가 발생되지 아니하여 당뇨병을 개선 또는 예방하기 위하여 널리 사용할 수 있다.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A composition containing sun dried salt and Eclipta prostrate extract for treating or preventing diabetes is provided to suppress protein tyrosine phosphatase(PTP1B) and α-glucosidase and treat diabetes without diabetes. CONSTITUTION: A composition for preventing or treating diabetes contains salt and Eclipta prostrate extract as an active ingredient. The salt is sun dried salt. The Eclipta prostrate extract is isolated using water, 50-100% of alcohol of 1-4 carbon atoms, athylacetate, hexane or dichloromethane. The content of salt and Eclipta prostrate extract is 1:1~30:1 based on weight part. A food composition for relieving or preventing diabetes contains salt and Eclipta prostrate extract as an active ingredient. Abstract: PURPOSE: A catechin-enriched green tea and a preparation method thereof are provided as an additive for various kinds of foods. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing a catechin-enriched green tea comprises the following steps of: treating green tea leaves in anaerobic conditions with nitrogen gas at room temperature for 4-6 hours; steaming the treated green tea leaves at the temperature of 90~110°C for 20-60 seconds; drying the leaves at 80~100°C for 40-60 minutes, and rubbing them for 10-25 minutes; rolling them at 50~70°C for 20-60 minutes; finely rolling them at 60~80°C for 20-40 minutes; and drying them at 75~95°C for 1-3 hours.
