Abstract:
PURPOSE: A deblocking filter calculation device and a method thereof including a common data pass structure are provided to integrate a data pass which performs strong intensity filtering and a data pass performing average intensity filtering. CONSTITUTION: A critical value generating unit generates a critical value from an inputted index value. An edge judging unit determines whether an edge, which is a current filtering target, is made due to an error because of a blocking artifact or not by using an input pixel data which will be filtered with the generated critical value. A filtering calculation performing unit selectively performs an average intensity filtering calculation or a strong strength filtering calculation according to an inputted boundary intensity coefficient. An outputting unit outputs an average intensity filtering calculation result or a strong intensity filtering calculation result.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A deblocking filtering method is provided to perform a deblocking filtering operation in a spiral rotating order fro an image comprising plural macro blocks. CONSTITUTION: For the first and second macroblocks placed in the central portion of an image, a deblocking filtering operation is performed. One side of the first macro block contacts the one side of the second macro block. According to the spiral-rotating order in relation to the center of the first macro block, the deblocking filtering operation is performed for the boundary of the macro blocks which are adjacent to each other. For the vertical and horizontal direction boundaries in the macro block, the deblocking filtering operation is performed one time.

PURPOSE: A mobile phone and a driving method thereof are provided to minimize the damage on a device. CONSTITUTION: A memory(1200) stores a power lookup table necessary for the operation of plural elements according to the occurrence of an event. A converter(1320) applies the controlled power to the plural devices, and a PWM(Pulse Width Modulation) controller(1310) adjusts the pulse width of the power source to the converter. A DSP(Digital Signal Processor)(1110) controls the PWM controller according to the power lookup table corresponding to the occurring event. An error amplifier(EA) and a comparator(CP) reduces an error by comparing the input and output of the converter.

통신 단말기로 전력을 전송하는 UWB칩을 기반으로 하는 MIMO MB-OFDM 방식의 무선 전력 전송 장치가 개시된다. 무선 전력 전송 장치는 통신 단말기와 데이터를 송수신하기 위한 데이터 송수신부; 무선 전력을 전송하기 위한 전력 전송부; 데이터 송수신 채널 및 전력 전송 채널을 설정하는 채널 관리부; 빔 형성(beam-forming) 구간을 측정하는 빔 형성 구간 측정부; 및 설정된 전력 전송 채널을 통하여 측정된 빔 형성 구간으로 전력을 전송하도록 제어하는 신호를 생성하는 제어부를 포함한다. 본 발명에 따르면, 통신 단말기의 전력 충전에 불편함을 해결하고, 이동중인 통신 단말기의 전력 충전을 보다 수월하게 할 수 있다는 장점이 있다. 무선 전력 전송, MIMO OFDM, Beam-forming

An apparatus and method for gauging remainder is provided to measure remainder of a battery exactly by adding compensation voltage corresponding to the amount of load current to an output voltage of battery. In an apparatus and method for gauging remainder, a voltage detector(210) detects output voltage of a battery and measure a load current supplied to each load of electronic device from the battery. A voltage compensation unit(220) outputs compensation voltage corresponding to the amount of measured load current. A calculation unit(240) calculates the remainder of the battery corresponding to the add result of the voltage and compensation value after receiving output voltage and the compensation voltage.

A multiprocessor SoC(System on Chip) platform and a DVB-T(Digital Video Broadcasting-Terrestrial) baseband receiver using the same are provided to realize flexibility while being suitable for fast operation by using a crossbar switch. A first processor(10) such as a main processor manages entire scheduling and manages communication with an external device. At least one second processor(20a-20c) such as a DSP(Digital Signal Processor) processes a digital signal. At least one slave device(30a-30c) communicates with the main processor and the slave processor. A CI(Communication Interface) unit(40) connects the main processor and the slave device in a crossbar switching mode to enable the main processor and the DSP to communicate with the slave device. The CI unit includes a crossbar switch comprising a plurality of unit crossbar cells for forming a communication path between the main processor and the salve device and between the DSP and the slave device according to the crossbar switching mode, and a CI controller forming the communication path to the slave device when at least one of the main processor and the DSP requests access to the slave device depending on a priority policy.

An adaptive system and a method for detecting a peak of a heart pulse are provided to reduce economic and social losses due to a disease by determining the disease related to a heart disease and outputting a prescription by sensing the heart pulse. An adaptive system for detecting a peak of a heart pulse includes a peak detection device(20) and a symptom determination device(21). The peak detection device detects peaks of ventricular or atrial pulse signals. The symptom determination device determines a heart disease based on an interval between the peaks detected by the peak detection device. The peak detection device detects the peaks of the ventricular or atrial pulse signals according to the adaptive threshold level. The symptom determination device extracts and stores the interval between the peaks, a peak generation time, the number of pulsation of a relative signal between generation of the ventricular or atrial pulse signals, an interval between ventricular and atrial peaks, and a far field pulse wave.
