    Abstract: PURPOSE: A non-contact inert type road roughness measurement system is provided to rapidly measure road roughness, to analyze a road status and to calculate a road profile for a vehicle travel simulation. CONSTITUTION: A non-contact inert type road roughness measurement system includes an optical distance measurement sensor(7), an acceleration sensor(8) and an optical speed sensor(9), which are installed in a vehicle(5). The acceleration sensor(8) is aligned just on the optical distance measurement sensor(7). A road profile is calculated by means of predetermined computer system based on measurement signals obtained by the optical distance measurement sensor(7), the acceleration sensor(8) and the optical speed sensor(9). The optical speed sensor(9) is attached in the middle a supporter(10).

CONSTITUTION: A fly wheel comprises a first mass(10) forming first and second semi oval guide holes(11,12) by being mounted on a driving shaft of an engine; first and second springs(13,14) inserted to the first and second semi oval guide holes; a second mass(15) installing a rotation plate(16) by being established on an input shaft of a transmission; first and second damping force generating blocks(17,18) pressurizing the first and second spring by being movably installed through guide bars on an upper side and a lower side of the rotation plate; and third/forth springs(21,22) elastically biasing the first and second damping force generating blocks outside. The first and second semi oval guide holes are larger toward outside on a vertical middle line on an inside face. The first and second springs are pressurized to apply power toward a rotation direction of the first and second damping force generating blocks. Then, the rotation plate is rotated to revolute the second mass.

First and second pressurizing bars(19,20) are mounted on an upper portion and a lower portion of the rotation plate to pressurizes the first and second springs.
