Abstract:
A method for transforming an intermediate language comprises the steps of: generating a C-language-based source file including a predetermined operator; transforming the source file into a platform-independent intermediate language code including a string corresponding to the operator; and detecting a platform-dependent syntax error from the platform-independent intermediate language code, using a predetermined range of values for the operator. The method can previously check whether syntax including an operator causes a problem on a specific platform without compiling into a platform-dependent intermediate language code by representing the operator, which has different values for different platforms, as a string on a platform-independent intermediate language code and by checking syntax errors using the range of values of the operator pre-stored in the compiler (e.g., maximum and minimum values).
Abstract:
PURPOSE: An immediate language converting method using common expressions, a system therefor, and a computer-readable recording medium thereof are provided to improve the portability of an independent intermediate code by expressing a constant having a C-based specific type as the independent intermediate code. CONSTITUTION: A source file generating unit(210) generates a C-based source file. A compile unit(230) converts the source file into an independent intermediate code and converts the independent intermediate code into a constant having a value according to a platform through a common constant. An execution file generating unit(240) generates an execution file about an independent intermediate code and an execution file operating unit(250) operates the execution file in the platform. A preprocessing performing unit(220) preprocesses the source file. [Reference numerals] (210) Source file generating unit; (220) Preprocessing performing unit; (230) Compile unit; (232) Independent compile unit; (234) Subordinate compile unit; (240) Execution file generating unit; (250) Execution file operating unit
