    Abstract: PURPOSE: A pantograph for electric railroad vehicles is provided to induce stable electrical energy by minimizing the abrasion of a collecting part which is contact with an aerial cable. CONSTITUTION: A foldable frame(120) is comprised in the upper part of an electric railroad vehicle. A current collecting unit(130) is comprised in the upper part of the foldable frame. The current collecting unit touches an aerial cable(300). The current collecting unit collects electrical energy. The current collecting unit is composed of a first and a second fixing member, a fixed axis(131), and a cylindrical current collecting ruler(134). The first and the second fixing member are fixed in the upper part of the foldable frame. The fixed axis is fixed between the first and the second fixing members. The cylindrical current collecting roller touches the aerial cable.
