PURPOSE: An electronic throttle valve control device and method are provided to prevent engine rpm change or sudden start by applying estimated throttle position sensor values to feedback control when two throttle position sensors malfunction at the same time. CONSTITUTION: An electronic throttle valve control device comprises an accelerator pedal detecting unit(10) which detects the displacement of an accelerator pedal, an air flow detecting unit(20) which detects the air volume flowing into an engine, a controller(30) which adjusts the position of the throttle valve by deciding torque to the accelerator pedal displacement and undergoes feedback control of the throttle valve position using signals of TPSs(Throttle Position Sensors), and a throttle body(40) which includes a DC motor and the TPSs and regulates the position of a throttle valve according to a signal from the controller. The controller applies a TPS value estimated from a signal of the air flow detecting unit when an error in the TPS signal is detected.

PURPOSE: A fuel pump control method of LPI hybrid vehicle is provided to minimize the fuel pumping noise by maintaining a proper fuel supply pressure during operation of the motor. CONSTITUTION: A fuel pump control method of LPI hybrid vehicle comprises a step of determining whether the vehicle is in a motor driving mode or an engine driving mode(S1), a step of comparing the current fuel pressure with the lower limit of a target pressure range if in the motor driving mode(S2), a step of operating the fuel pump in case the fuel pressure is equal to or less than the target pressure range(S3), a step of comparing the current fuel pump with the upper limit of the target pressure range when the fuel pressure increases(S4), a step of stopping the operation of the fuel pump when the fuel pressure exceeds the upper limit of the target pressure range(S5), and a step of continuing the operation of the fuel pump when the fuel pressure is equal to or less than the upper limit of the target pressure range.

A method for controlling abnormal signal of a throttle position sensor is provided to determine abnormal signal of the throttle position sensor and maintain a proper air-fuel ratio, thus ensuring the normal combustion of engine. A method for controlling abnormal signal of a throttle position sensor comprises a step of determining whether the throttle position sensor generates abnormal signal when a fault code of the throttle position sensor is not generated(S301,S305); and a step of determining an injection time through the throttle position sensor based on the fuel supply amount except for fuel compensation amount when the throttle position sensor generates the abnormal signal while determining an injection time through the throttle position sensor based on the fuel supply amount including fuel compensation amount when the throttle position sensor does not generate the abnormal signal(S307,S309). It is determined that the throttle position sensor generates abnormal signal when the signal change rate in the acceleration is greater than the maximum signal slope(DeltaP[+]) of the throttle position sensor in the acceleration.

A diagnosis system and method of an LPI engine are provided to determine whether a fuel pump relay is malfunctioned by monitoring power of an output terminal of the fuel pump relay. A diagnosis system of an LPI engine includes a bombe(400), a pressure regulator(500), a relay part(300), an LPG switch(200), and an LPG ECU(100). The bombe for storing a liquefied fuel includes a fuel pump drive part(405), and a first blocking valve. The pressure regulator maintains the fuel pressure within a set range to prevent leakage of the fuel into a cylinder through an injector. The relay part includes a main relay(310) for supplying power to a plurality of sensors, and a fuel pump relay(320) for controlling operation of the fuel pump drive part. The LPG switch is operated by an operator to block the supply of the fuel in case of emergency. The LPG ECU includes a blocking valve controller, a LPG switch controller, a fuel pump relay controller, and a malfunction diagnosis part.

A control circuit for injectors with cut solenoids of an LPI(Liquefied Petroleum gas Injection) engine, and a control method and a fault diagnosis method of a cut solenoid are provided to prevent fuel leakage through an injector in stopping the engine, by injecting the fuel from an injection unit through a cut solenoid unit of the cut solenoid only while power is supplied to the solenoid. A control circuit comprises cut solenoids(500) arranged in a plurality of injectors; a power supply connected to the cut solenoids in common; an electronic control unit(1) for controlling the cut solenoids; and control lines(3) connected to the cut solenoids from the electronic control unit. Each injector includes an injector unit and a cut solenoid unit, and the electronic control unit controls the injector unit of the injector. The power supply connected to the cut solenoids supplies power to a fuel pump through a fuel pump relay(508).

A fuel supply apparatus of an LPI(Liquefied Petroleum Injection) engine is provided to prevent excessive emission of hydro carbon during an early stage of engine start caused due to excessive fuel in a combustion chamber, by circulating fuel remaining in an injector to a fuel tank after stoppage of the engine. A fuel supply apparatus of an LPI engine, comprises a pressure regulator(100), a pulsation sound absorber(200), and a third cutoff valve(300). The pressure regulator is interposed between a fuel pump(2) of a fuel tank(1) and a first cutoff valve(3), and circulates fuel to the fuel tank if the supply pressure of the fuel pump is higher than a preset pressure level. The pulsation sound absorber is arranged at a fuel return line(7) of an injector(5), and removes pulsation sound generated during operation of the injector. The third cutoff valve prevents fuel from returning to the fuel tank during operation of the engine, and opens to allow fuel remaining in the injector to return to the fuel tank when the engine stops.
