Abstract: 본 실시예에 따른 배기 매니폴드와 실린더 헤드가 일체형으로 형성된 엔진은, 제1 실린더에서 배출된 배기가스가 지나는 제1 배기통로와 제4 실린더에서 배출된 배기가스가 지나는 제4 배기통로를 포함하고, 상기 제1 배기통로와 상기 제4 배기통로가 합쳐져 하나의 싱글 배기출구가 형성된 배기 매니폴드를 포함하며, 상기 제1 실린더와 상기 제4 실린더에 배치된 배기밸브가 열리는 기간이 서로 오버랩 되지 않는다.
상기와 같은 구성을 바탕으로 배기 매니폴드가 실린더와 일체형으로 형성됨으로써 원가가 절감되고, 배기 매니폴드의 배기통로들 사이에 워터자켓이 형성되어 열 부하에 영향을 많이 받는 터보차저의 내구성이 향상될 수 있으며, 공연비가 희박화됨으로써 성능과 연비가 향상된다. 또한 매니폴드의 배기가스 출구에 트윈 스크롤 터보차저를 직접 장착함으로써 컴팩트한 엔진 구조를 달성할 수 있으며, 서로 맥동 간섭을 일으키는 배기통로를 따로 배치함으로써 저 알피엠 토크가 개선될 수 있고, 잔류가스가 효율적으로 소기될 수 있다.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A driving device of a thermostat is provided to prevent deterioration of heating performance, to make warm-up executed quickly, and to prevent a sudden change of the temperature of a coolant. CONSTITUTION: A thermostat comprises a housing having a valve hole(3) for the passing of a fluid, and a wax part(4) having a valve body(5) for opening and shutting the valve hole. The valve hole is formed in the center of a shutoff plate(2) formed to the intermediate part of the inside of the housing. The wax part makes the valve body open and shut while contracting and expanding according to the temperature of the fluid. A driving device of the thermostat comprises a plunger(11) having a head part(12) formed to the front end to interrupt entry into the housing; a spring(13) interposed between the head part of the plunger and the inlet side of the housing; and an auxiliary part(10) having one end inserted in the wax part, in a state of receiving one side of the plunger. The plunger is movably formed in a state of having one side exposed to the outside of the inlet side of the housing. The auxiliary wax part starts to expand at lower temperature than the wax part and pushes out the plunger to make the valve body in a workable state.
