Abstract: An automatic transmission lever device for a vehicle is provided to help a driver to recognize malfunction that gear shifting is carried out from stage N to stage P by generating shifting feeling when pushing a push button of a gear shift lever when the driver carries out gear shifting from stage N to stage R. A transmission rod inclined guide surface(12a) of a transmission rod(12) contacting a push button roller(14b) is formed with a holding groove(12b) for the push button roller. The push button roller is inserted into the holding groove so as to generate shifting feeling when a push button(14a) is pressed.
