Abstract: PURPOSE: A disorder in an engine cooling system is decided to prevent engine damage by an overheat. CONSTITUTION: A system to diagnose an engine cooling system comprises a pressure detecting portion(140) in upper part of a radiator(105), a first, a second and a third temperature detecting portion(110, 120, 130) in a radiator upper end, lower end and an engine coolant discharging port. An induction current detecting portion(150) is installed in a cooling fan to detect induction current. A diagnosing control portion(160) decides overheat by the detected value of the above detecting portions.

Abstract: PURPOSE: COP(catalyst overheat protection) area is decided in reference of an exhaust gas temperature and a catalyst temperature to adjust fuel amount, thereby improving air fuel ratio. CONSTITUTION: A method for deciding fuel amount feedback control comprises step of deciding whether an exhaust gas temperature is over a certain level. If the exhaust gas temperature is not over the level, it is decided as an air fuel ratio control area, and a feedback control using an oxygen sensor is carried out. If the exhaust gas temperature is over the level, it is decided as a COP area, and mapped fuel amount is injected. If the mapped fuel amount is injected, it is decided whether the exhaust gas temperature is over a certain level again. If then, fuel is more injected, and if not, the fuel is reduced.
