CONSTITUTION: A passenger identification system of a vehicle using a weight sensor comprises weight sensors(12~14), a dummy sensor(11), and a passenger decision logic unit(40). The weight sensor and the dummy sensor are mounted on a seat frame. A plurality of weight sensors support the load of the vehicle seat. The dummy sensor supports the load of the sheet and the multiple weight sensors. The passenger decision logic unit compares passenger weight value with first and second decision references.

A curtain air bag device for protecting the head of a passenger includes a curtain type air bag(13), a piller ramp member(16), slit grooves(18), a bracket(17), and a bolt fixing member(20). The curtain type air bag is accommodated between a chassis body(11), a pillar trim member(12), and a head liner. The piller ramp member surrounds the curtain type air bag and is widened when the curtain type air bag is deployed. The slit grooves are formed at both upper ends of the pillar ramp part. The bracket is inserted into the slit grooves at its lower end. The bolt fixing member fixes the bracket to the chassis body.
