Abstract: PURPOSE: A sleeve unit for a planetary carrier is provided to prevent abrasion of the planetary carrier due to bush rotation and to prevent oil provided from an input shaft to leak to outside the planetary carrier. CONSTITUTION: An oil supply hole is mounted on an input shaft(10). A plurality of oil holes is formed on the outer circumference of a shaft unit in a columnar direction. A groove is formed on a planetary carrier(20) along a longitudinal direction of the shaft unit. A bush and a bearing are placed at the planetary carrier. A body unit(110) is pressed and inserted to the shaft unit of the planetary carrier. The body unit is formed into a cylinder shape. A cap unit is bent from the body unit toward center of the body unit by corresponding to the leading end of the planetary carrier.

Abstract: PURPOSE: The gear train of an auto transmission for vehicles is provided to control the operation of three friction members in each change gear step by mixing four simple planetary gear sets with four clutches and two brakes. CONSTITUTION: A clutch means comprises first, second, third, and fourth planetary gear sets(PG1-PG4) and four clutches(C1-C4). A break means comprises two brakes(B1,B2). The first planetary gear set is arranged in an engine. The second, third, and fourth planetary gear sets are successively arranged. An input shaft(IS) forms the turbine shaft of a torque converter. One operation element of the first planetary gear set is connected to one operation element of a second planetary gear set through a first power transfer member. The other operation element of the second planetary gear set is connected to one operation element of a third planetary gear set through a second power transfer member. The other operation element of the third planetary gear set is connected to one operation element of a fourth planetary gear set through a third power transfer member.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A friction unit for automatic transmissions is provided to minimize friction loss by installing the center circumference of each disc to be contact with each other by enabling the rapid returning of the plate. CONSTITUTION: In a friction unit for automatic transmissions, a spline is formed in one side of a transmission case and a plurality of plates are inserted therein. A plurality of discs with adhesive in both sides is inserted in the each plate. The plural disc are connected to different configurations of an input shaft(9). A reaction plate(11) comprises a hydraulic piston(15) and is supported in one side of the spline of the transmission case by a snap ring A central disc(5a) is installed in the herb between the plates.

Abstract: PURPOSE: The gear train of an auto transmission for vehicles is provided to reduce an electrical field of the auto transmission by dividing four simple planetary gear sets into two shafts. CONSTITUTION: First, second, and third planetary gear sets(PG1-PG3) are arranged in a first shaft(2). A fourth planetary gear set(PG4) is arranged in a second shaft and constitutes rotation element of 6. The second shaft is arranged to be parallel with the first shaft.
