Abstract: An antibacterial amide derivative is provided to interrupt communication between bacteria as a quorum sensing antagonist, so that the compound is useful for preventing the biofilm formation by bacteria and disease occurrence. An antibacterial amide derivative is represented by the formula(1) or formula(2), wherein R1 and R2 are each independently aromatic hydrocarbon group or aromatic hydrocarbon group having hetero atom. The biofilm formation is prevented by contacting the antibacterial amide derivative represented by the formula(1) or formula(2) with bacteria including gram negative bacteria.

Abstract: 항균성을 지니는 동시에 쿼럼센싱 길항제로 기능을 하는 항균성 호모세린 락톤 유도체 및 이를 이용한 미생물의 제거 방법에서, 호모세린 락톤 유도체는 세균들 간의 의사소통을 방해하는 호모세린 락톤 잔기와 함께, 그람 양성균과 그람 음성균에 대하여 항균성을 지니는 치환기를 포함한다. 이에 따라 항균성 호모세린 락톤 유도체는 세균들에 대하여 우수한 항균력을 지니는 동시에, 생물막의 형성과 번식을 효과적으로 차단할 수 있다.

Abstract: An antibacterial homoserine lactone derivative is provided to act as a quorum sensing antagonist for interrupting communications between microorganisms, thereby blocking a biofilm by the microorganisms effectively and preventing bacteria from propagating. An antibacterial homoserine lactone derivative is represented by a formula(1) or (2), wherein R1 is an aromatic hydrocarbon including N or an aromatic hydrocarbon including amino or nitro as a substituent; and R2 is a non-substituted aromatic hydrocarbon or an aromatic hydrocarbon including C1-4 alkyl or amino as a substituent. A method for removing microorganism comprises a step of contacting the microorganism with the antibacterial homoserine lactone derivative, wherein the microorganism includes Gram positive bacillus or Gram negative bacillus.

Abstract: An antibacterial furanone derivative is provided to function as a quorum sensing antagonist, which interrupts communication among bacteria due to a chemical structure similar to a material used for the communication of the bacteria, thereby being used for preventing formation of a biofilm. Abstract: Provided is an antibacterial polymer which is harmless to the human body, shows an excellent antibacterial effect to various bacteria and can maintain the antibacterial effect semi-permanently. The antibacterial polymer is a polystyrene-based polymer whose terminal is substituted with an antibacterial molecule represented by the formula 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6. Preferably the polystyrene-based polymer is aminomethyl polystyrene; and the antibacterial polymer has a size of 100-200 mesh. The antibacterial molecule represented by the formula 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 is bonded to the terminal of a polystyrene-based polymer in a dimethylacetamide solvent by covalent bond.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for sterilizing beverages using nitrous oxide is provided to control the pH change of beverages and to sterilize beverages with sterilizing power in a short time using liquid or supercritical nitrous oxide. Abstract: A tap water discharge device equipped with a disinfection member is provided, which disinfects pathogenic microorganism contained in the tap water before water is supplied to a user. Abstract: An indoor disinfection facility and an indoor sanitizing method are provided, in which the separate neutralization procedure is not required after disinfection. An indoor disinfection facility comprises: a hydrogen peroxide feed port(10) positioned on the top of the indoor space polluted by microorganism; an ozone supply part(20) which is connected to the indoor space and supplies the ozone gas containing the moisture; an ozone purification part(30) connected to the indoor space; and a hydrogen peroxide splitter(40) interposed between the indoor space and hydrogen peroxide feed port.
