Specifically claimed are (I) with R1 and R2 = MeNH, Me2N or pyrrolidino or R1 + R2 = -N(CH3).CO.N(CH3)-. Prepn. is by catalytic redn. of (II) opt. in presence of HNR3R4; or when R1=R2=H, photochemical redn. of (II) in an H-donating solvent. (I) are useful as antiparinsonian, sedative, anticonvulsant, spasmolytic, analgesic, diuretic, antiinflammatory as viricidal agents.
