Pref. the catalyst is an oxide of elements in gps. I-V or subgps. I-VIII, or a rare earth oxide, or a mixt. of these, or aluminium oxide. The conversion of (II) or (III) is carried out with water in a mole ratio of starting prod: water between 1:0.05 and 1:20. The conversion is carried out in a fluidised bed. The conversion is carried out between 300 and 345 deg.C.
