    Abstract: The invention relates to a system and a method for producing an in-situ foam comprising the components 50 to 98 wt.% of one or more inorganic fillers A), 1 to 48 wt.% of one or more cationic or amphoteric polymers B), 0.5 to 48 wt.% of one or more surfactants C), 0.01 to 5 wt.% of one or more crosslinking agents D) which are reactive with the polymers B), 0.5 to 10 wt.% of one or more cell regulators E), selected from silicones, siliconates, and carbon, and 0 to 20 wt.% of one or more additives F), wherein the percentage weights of the components A) to F) are nonaqueous components, and the sum of A) to F) equals 100 wt.%.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for separating substance mixtures by means of a non-porous polymer film, comprising (a) at least one inorganic or metal-organic phase, and (b) at least one organic polymer phase, wherein the polymer film can be obtained by polymerizing at least one monomer comprising at least one first polymerizable monomer segment A1, comprising at least one metal or semi-metal M, and at least one second polymerizable organic monomer segment A2, connected to the polymerizable monomer segment A1 by means of a covalent chemical bond, under polymerization conditions, under which both the polymerizable monomer segment A1 and the polymerizable organic monomer segment A2 polymerize while breaking the covalent chemical bond between A1 and A2. The present invention further relates to the use of the above polymer films for permeating, gas separating, or pervaporating.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing a nanocomposite material composed of a) at least one inorganic or organometallic phase, and b) an organic polymer phase. Said method includes the polymerization of at least one monomer M which comprises at least one first polymerizable monomer unit A containing a metal or semimetal M, and at least one second polymerizable organic monomer unit B that is linked to polymerizable unit A via a covalent chemical bond, in polymerization conditions in which both polymerizable monomer unit A and polymerizable unit B polymerize while the bond between A and B is broken. The monomers M to be polymerized comprise a first monomer M1 and at least one second monomer M2 which differs from monomer M1 in at least one of monomer units A or B (embodiment 1). Alternatively, in addition to the at least one monomer M, the monomers to be polymerized comprise at least one other monomer M' that differs from monomer M, i.e. monomer M' is a conventional monomer without monomer unit A, said monomer M' being copolymerizable with monomer unit B (embodiment 2).
