    Abstract: La presente invención se refiere al uso de nanoparticulas oxídicas que tienen un tamaño de partículas promedio que varía de 2 a 2000 nm en combinación con por lo menos un polímero policatiónico como una protección contra corrosión para superficies metálicas, y a un método para proteger la superficie metálicas de corrosión, que comprende los pasos de: i) proveer una formulación que comprende nanopartículas oxídicas (a) y por lo menos un polímero policatiónico (b) y un agente de aplicación, ii) aplicar la formulación de la superficie metálica que será protegida, y iii) secar y/o tratar con calor opcionalmente la superficie.
