Abstract: An electronic supervisory circuit indicates the condition of a telegraphy line being supervised without interfering with the transmission of the telegraphy signals. The supervisory circuit employs a holding circuit responsive to the detection of modulated line signals which maintains the output of the supervisory circuit during the periods when the modulated signals are transmitted over the telegraphy line. An auxiliary output is also employed to indicate the instantaneous condition of the line.

Abstract: 1,250,846. Telegraphy. C.I.T. COMPAGNIE INDUSTRIELLE DES TELECOMMUNICATIONS. 5 March, 1969 [19 March, 1968], No. 11815/69. Heading H4P. A subscriber line equipment comprises a transistor circuit as shown branched off the receiving wire A and transmitting wire B of a telegraph line which may be isolated from automatic switching equipment by exchange contacts KA, KB of a cross-bar switch comprising other contacts KV, KF. The circuit shows following modes of operation. (a) When the line is at rest wire A is negative and B is earth. Transistors TA-TC are on and TD-TH are off, capacitor C 1 is charged, C 2 is discharged, and neon L is off. (b) When the line is called by a calling subscriber, wire A becomes positive. Consequently TD switches on, causing C 1 to discharge slowly. After a time tC 1 is discharged to such a level that TE switches on, so connecting terminal AP to earth to indicate to selection switches the presence of the call. The presence of C 1 prevents TE being switched on in response to a positive transient pulse on wire A. (c) When the call has been serviced, earth is applied to the equipment from holding wire V, via contact KV, this causing TA-TE to switch off, and consequently the calling condition at AP ceases and the circuit presents a high impedance to the line. Neon L switches on. (d) When the selection switches designate the equipment to receive they apply a negative potential to terminal DP to determined whether or not the line equipment is free. If it is, there is no earth at V and so the negative at DP passes to terminal LB to indicate that the equipment is free. On the other hand, if the equipment is not free there is earth at V, TF is on, and negative appears at terminal OC to indicate the busy condition. (e) Should there be a group of telegraph lines and associated line equipments the output OC of the first line equipment of the group is connected to input DP of the second, OC of the second to DP of the third, etc., so that when the selection switches call the group the first free equipment is found and busied, giving earth at wire V. (f) When the line equipment is used as called party equipment a call is represented by positive wire B. If the call is received by the called party wire A goes from negative to positive. If the call is not received wire F goes to earth so that TH switches on, as does TG. In consequence, neon L flashes repeatedly. Capacitor C 2 being charged, only a sufficiently long positive on wire A can unblock the equipment. (g) If the line emits no signal when the line equipment is calling, the call having been serviced, F is at earth and the equipment is blocked as in f above. However, wire A being positive TD, TE are on so C 2 cannot charge. Since TH is on the call at AP is suppressed. When A reverts to negative TD, TE switch off, C 2 charges, and the equipment can be subsequently unblocked by wire A going positive.

Abstract: The device has two pumps (2,8) coupled to respective control units (3,11) for controlling the speed of the pump. A control valve (4) is coupled to an input of the pump (2) and to a third control unit (5) that controls the control valve. An inert gas injector (6) injects inert gas into the control valve through an injection pipe equipped with an injection valve. The injection valve is controlled by a fourth control unit. The control valve is controlled by the third control unit to compensate the rapid variations of weak amplitudes of pressure and flow of gas in processing chamber. The flow of the inert gas in the inert gas injector is controlled by the fourth control unit to compensate the variation of strong amplitude of the pressure and flow of gas in the processing chamber. The speeds of the two pumps are controlled by the respective control units to compensate the high variations of the amplitude of the conditions of pressure in the processing chamber. Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) a semiconductor fabrication installation or microelectronic mechanical system (b) a process of fabrication of semiconductors or the microelectronic mechanical system.
