    Abstract: PURPOSE:To produce a defectless casting by using the reclamation sand intended to be recycled as a refractory granular material in the process for production of the casting sand mold which molds the refractory granular material by using a water-soluble phenolic resin as a binder and org. ester as a hardener. CONSTITUTION:The water-soluble phenolic resin produced by effecting reaction in an acidic region by using a bivalent metal element compd. in a stage for condensing phenols and aldehydes and effecting the reaction with an alkaline metallic catalyst in an alkaline region in the stage before the above-mentioned stage and/or the stage thereafter is used as the binder. The casting sand mold for molding the refractory granular material is produced by using org. ester as a hardener. The reclamation sand or reconditioned sand intended to be recycled is used as the refractory granular material. The casting mold having high strength is obtd. in this way and since the amt. of the binder to be used is decreased, the recovery and regeneration of the molding sand are facilitated. Since the amt. of the gases to be generated can be decreased, the defectless casting can be produced.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a rolling lubricant of metal having good antiseizing property even under severe lubricating conditions by blending a lubricant with alkenyl cinnamic acid (anhydride) and phosphate (or phosphite). CONSTITUTION:The aimed lubricant obtained by blending (A) one or more kind of lubricants selected from oils and fats, fatty acid ester and mineral oil with (B) an alkenyl cinnamic acid expressed by formula I or formula II (R' is >=20C alkenyl) or anhydride thereof and (C) phosphate or phosphite expressed by formula III or formula IV (R is >=6C hydrocarbon; R is lower alkylene; m is 0-20; n is 1 or 2). Furthermore, blending weight ratio of the components B and C is preferably 1:4-4:1 (especially preferably 1:1) and the components B and C are preferably blended into the lubricant at an amount of >=0.5wt.% (especially 1-3wt.%) based on the total blend amount.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powdery detergent composition improved in detergency by blending a sequestering agent comprising an aspartic diacetic acid (salt) with a nonionic surfactant serving as a base, a higher fatty acid salt and an alkalizing agent each in an appropriate amount. SOLUTION: A component (a) comprising an aspartic diacetic acid or its salt represented by formula I (wherein R is H or OH; and M is a cation) in an amount of 0.5-50wt.% is blended with 5-30wt.% nonionic surfactant (b), 1-10wt.% higher fatty acid salt (c) and 20-80wt.% alkalizing agent (d). The cation of component (a) preferably comprises H, Na or K. Examples of component (b) used include a polyoxyethylene alkyl ether and a polyoxyethylene alkylphenyl ether, preferably having an HLB of 8.5 to 13. The component (c) used comprises a salt of a fatty acid having alkyl or alkenyl groups with an average number of carbon atoms of 8-22, and preferably comprises a sodium or potassium salt thereof. The component (d) used comprises, e.g. a carbonate or bicarbonate, preferably a sodium or potassium (bi)carbonate.

SOLUTION: This composition contains 5 to 50 pts.wt. organic granular material per 100 pts.wt. refractory aggregate. The organic granular material is >=1 kind selected from a styrene resin, nylon resin, acrylic resin, melamine resin, etc., and the pattern made of a synthetic resin foam formed by applying the coating agent containing 5 to 50 pts.wt. organic granular material per 100 pts.wt. refractory aggregate on its surface is embedded into molding sand and casting is executed by hollowing the organic granular material packing at the time of casting.
