Abstract: An enclosed compressor which has one or more pores (17) made in the shell of a suction muffler (16) made from a material having a low heat conductivity, such as synthetic resin, and communicating with the inside of an enclosed case (1). The amplification of resonance sounds in the space in the enclosed case (1) is restrained by the pores (17) made at the nodes (18) of the vibration mode of the resonance frequency in the space. The coolant insufficient because of the suction loss consequent on the gas passage resistance of the suction passage for introducing a gas of high suction gas density through a suction pipe (12) into a cylinder (8) by coolant circulation is replenished by sucking the coolant gas in the enclosed case (1) through the pores (17).

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a welding process of a discharge pipe with a discharge connection pipe, and to enhance its quality in a closed type electrically driven compressor installed in a refrigerator and the like. SOLUTION: In this device, an expanded pipe part 6a is provided for the end part of a discharge connection pipe 6, the discharge connection pipe 6 is projected outward from a discharge pipe 5, and the discharge pipe 5 is brazed with the discharge connection pipe 6. This constitution thereby enables the discharge pipe 5 to be welded with the discharge connection pipe 6 after a closed type container 1 is assembled, reduces working man-hours enhances operability, prevents fluxes and foreign matters from ingressing into the closed type container, and also enhances its quality.

SOLUTION: Since a suction muffler A8 is provided with a cutout arm 9 whose opening is smaller than the diameter a bunch of lead wires A7 and which has a warped part for preventing the withdrawal of the lead wires A7 and which grips the lead wires A7 as a group, the bunch of lead wires A7 are inserted into the cutout arm 9 with good workability. Since the cutout arm 9 prevents the withdrawal of the lead wires A7 by the warped part thereof to grip them as a group without making them come apart, the lead wires A7 are hard to come near the peripheral parts. Therefore, the adjustment of a plurality of lead wires A7 not to make them come near the peripheral parts can be omitted in the process of assembling a hermetic electric compressor.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the volumetric efficiency so as to improve the refrigerating capacity by decreasing the loss in suction caused by a flow resistance in a suction passage for leading sucked gas having a high density in a coolant circulating volume from a suction pipe into a cylinder. SOLUTION: In a hermetic compressor, a suction muffler 16 is made of a material such as a synthetic resin having a low thermal conductivity, and in its outer shell more than one of small holes 17 communicated with the inside 1 of a hermetic container 1 are formed. These small holes 17 being located at positions of nodes of a vibration mode at a resonant frequency in the inside space of the hermetic container 1, and accordingly, the amplification of resonating sound in the inside space of the container 1 is restrained while the gas having a high suction density due to the coolant circulating quantity is replenished with coolant gas which is sucked into a space in a cylinder from a suction pipe 12 through the small holes 17, for a deficiency of the coolant caused by a suction loss due to a gas flow resistance in a suction passage through which the gas is led from the suction passage 12 into the cylinder. Thus, the suction loss can be decreased, and accordingly, a hermetic compressor which can decrease its suction loss and can enhance the refrigerating function is provided.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve assemblage at low cost when an intake muffler is fixed by push-pressing tip ends of projection parts after projection parts of a cylinder head are inserted into holes of a steel belt, and caulking the steel belt. SOLUTION: Two projection parts 5a formed integrally with a cylinder head 5 are arranged holding an inserting hole 10, holes 6a whose diameter is smaller than that of a projection part 5a are arranged on a steel belt 6 having a spring performance, and are arranged so as to insert around the projection parts 5a. After projection parts 5a of the cylinder head 5 are inserted into the holes 6a of the steel belt 6, tip ends of the projection parts 5a are push-pressed, and thereby, the steel belt 6 is caulked, a communicating pipe 4a is brought into pressure-contact with the inserting hole 10 by the spring performance of the steel belt 6, and thereby, an intake muffler 4 is surely fixed to the cylinder head 5. Since the cylinder head 5 is formed integrally with the projection parts 5a by aluminum die-cast, the number of part items are reduced. It is thus possible to reduce a cost and improve workability by reducing the number of the part items.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce noise of a small-size compressor by making a bottom face of a sealed vessel spherical and increasing rigidity of the bottom face without changing the size of the compressor. SOLUTION: The entire bottom face of the sealed vessel is made spherical, and only snub bar mounting parts on the side wall are circularly extruded in a vertical direction to project, so that the entire bottom face can be made spherical with the overall height of the sealed vessel remaining unchanged, thus increasing the rigidity of the bottom face. Consequently, the noise is reduced.
