Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator having a defrosting system in which a safety characteristic at the time of using ignitable refrigerant can be improved and a storing space of the refrigerator can be expanded. SOLUTION: This refrigerator is comprised of a cooling circuit 36 including a compressor 29, a condenser 31, a first flow passage control means 34 for use in feeding refrigerant to either one of a first pressure reducing means 32 or second pressure reducing means 33, a first evaporator 25 for evaporating and gasifying liquefied refrigerant fed from the pressure reducing means, a second evaporator 27 and a second flow passage control means 35 installed after the second evaporator 27; and a defrosting circuit 38 constructed by a third flow passage control means 37 for use in flowing high temperature gas to the second evaporator 27 during a defrosting operation.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent temperature drop of a front board and condensation thereon in a refrigerator with improved energy-saving effect by disposing no heat radiation pipes forming a heat source in the refrigerator on a front opening part of the refrigerator. SOLUTION: No front condenser for preventing perspiration is provided on the front opening part of a refrigerator body 17 to suppress invasion of any thermal load into the refrigerator, hard urethane foam 41 is filled inside a partition 18, and a second seal member 46 is provided. Any thermal load in the refrigerator by the heat radiation pipes is eliminated, more energy is saved, transmission of the cold air in the refrigerator to the front board is suppressed, drop of the surface temperature of the front board 40 is prevented, and perspiration of the front board 40 is also prevented. Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain energy saving and prevention of dew formation regarding the structure of a partition part of a refrigerator having a plurality of storage chambers. SOLUTION: The refrigerator has at least two storage chambers and has openable-closable door bodies 59 and 60 provided respectively in front opening parts and a partition plate 81 provided in the front part of a partition wall partitioning the storage chambers. A projecting part 81a is provided in the front part of the partition plate 81 and the front of the projecting part is made to be almost on the same plane as the fronts of the door bodies. Thereby the design properties of the outward appearance are improved. Besides, the partition plate 81 becomes susceptible to the temperature of the atmosphere. Thereby the surface temperature thereof is raised and the sweating due to dew formation can be prevented. Moreover, the amount of heat transfer to the outside is reduced by an increase of a creepage distance from the storage chamber and consequently energy is saved. By providing the projecting part 81a, the strength of the partition plate can be improved.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dissolve a problem that there is no method to confirm humidity of a refrigerating chamber by a user for a refrigerator since humidity is non- visible though the increase of humidity in a conventional refrigerating chamber is practicable. SOLUTION: A dry and wet display sheet 10 containing a pigment the color of which is changed according to a change of humidity is situated at the whole or a part of a refrigerating chamber shelf 4 of a refrigerating chamber 3 or at an inner box 2 of the refrigerating chamber. This constitution causes a user to simply recognize humidity in the refrigerating chamber by changing the color of the dry and wet display sheet 10 according to a change of humidity in the refrigerating chamber.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain high-accuracy analyzed results from a fluid simulator which simulates a fluid flowing around an object by improving the grid generating efficiency and actually calculating efficiency of the simulator. SOLUTION: A fluid simulator is provided with an I/F section 2 which transforms the external size data of an object into a prescribed data format of the UCD format, etc., with a 3D-CAD 1 as the central figure, an analytical data generating section 3 which automatically generates such a Descartes grid that its width becomes narrower stepwise at arbitrary intervals as the grid approaches the object in a space in an object to be analyzed based on the classification information of the 3D-CAD 1 by using the external size data of the object, and an analyzing section 4 which performs numerical analysis in a local collocation procedure at grid points in a prescribed region near the object by using grid data and the other analytical data and in a Descartes grid local collocation procedure using a differential method at the other grid points. The simulator is also provided with a displaying section 5 which visualizes the analyzed results. Thereby, the simulator can make grid generation and actual calculation in a short time and, at the same time, provides highly accurate analyzed result and can cope with the problem about the viscosity of a simulated fluid.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator using ignitable refrigerant in which a defrosting efficiency of an evaporator is increased and a reduction in efficiency of the refrigerator is prevented even in the case that a low temperature defrosting heater is applied. SOLUTION: There are provided an evaporator 3; a defrosting heater 4 closely contacted with fins 3a of the evaporator 3 to melt and dissolve frost adhered to the evaporator 3, a heater temperature sensing means 8 for use in sensing a temperature at the section where the defrosting heater 4 shows the highest temperatures; and a heater temperature control device 9 for controlling a temperature of the defrosting heater 4 in such a way that the temperature detected by the heater temperature sensing means 8 does not become the set temperature or higher.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a temperature of each of a freezer and a refrigerator from being increased and further prevent a location around a cooling device and an air passage from being frosted, by a method wherein when a plurality of electric dampers for the freezer and the refrigerator are controlled, the electric dampers are controlled individually either during a defrosting operation or upon completion of the defrosting operation. SOLUTION: A freezer and a refrigerator are operated such that temperatures of a refrigerator chamber 4, a specified refrigerator chamber 17 and a changing- over chamber 18 are detected by temperature sensing means 14, 19 and 20 for each of these chambers either during defrosting operation or upon completion of defrosting operation, and then an opening or closing of each of the electric dampers 13, 21 and 22 is determined in reference to these detected temperatures. With such an arrangement as above, it is possible to restrict an increasing in temperature within the refrigerator having the electric dampers closed therein, to release moisture around the cooling device 7 into the refrigerator showing a certain surplus state against the increased temperature, and to prevent frosting around the cooling device 7 and the air passage. Then, a high reliability in operation of the freezer and refrigerator can be attained.
